I just Pre-odered a black Wii & black Wii fit board bundle for £170.99 to be delivered on Friday from amazon!
It comes with the usual standard games, Wii motion plus & nunchuck!
The clincher for me was the black board - it's for a gift for mum and dad, and they didn't want anything that didn't match their living room!!
It's the best deal I've found0 -
Hi all,
I'm getting confused trying to compare deals and not knowing whats needed with the wii packages?
We have some vouchers saved up and are trying to compare products, can someone tell me if the motion plus controller is the same as a wii remote? i.e. if we both want to play it we add one more remote? or is it for use along side the remote so if the bundle only comes with motion plus, we would still need to buy 2 remotes to make it useable???

I ordered the same thing two days ago at £169 and I see its £179 today. But they do have a price promise of giving you the lowest price - even if it goes below £169 by December 3.0 -

So still no-one can post up and tell us what we actually need to play the damn thing !
C'mon you old timers, help us who don't know out will you !
My first guess is that you need two of everything which means 2 motion things, 2 motion plus, 2 nutcrackers and then somewhere to charge the damn things.
Then there is some new version where you don't have to remove the motion plus.
Obviously if you want a steering wheel or gun then that is probably game specific but what about the rest ? Please someone in the know post up.0 -
Just spoke to Game. They said they would sell me a second hand WII for £79, but they didn't have any in stock. They said to keep my eyes open and keep asking.
Broke the connection cable. Went to Game station and they said sorry and gave me the number for Ninendo. Spoke to Game and they went round the back. The salesman said they had waterlogged WIIs and he gave me the cable from one of them. I know where I want to buy my games.Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time0 -

Hi there - I too am a Wii virgin, I came on here to ask exactly the same questions which you have already covered. I have bought the limited addition red Wii with one motion plus remote and nunchuck. Do I need to buy another Motion Plus remote or would an ordinary one do? I also need a charger. I have spent ages online looking around for the best deals but I'm not exactly sure what I am looking for. I was going to go for the £30 bundle they have in Argos, which includes a remote, nunchuck, docking station and steering wheel but unfortunately the remote is out of stock in my area. My head is bursting with it all!!If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.;)0 -
Have you seen the wii + wii fit in black for £169 I think it's a pretty good offer tbh, I want it0

OK - to play the Wii you will NEED at least one remote control ("Wiimote") and one Nunchuck. This will come with any brand new console, and should come with a pre-owned console from a retailer.
The "Motion Plus" add-on is only for certain games designed to use it, and some of those games it is optional. It gives a more accurate control, but in reality only about 4 or 5 games NEED the Motion Plus - and Wii Sports Resort is one of those.
It is best to have at least 2 remotes and Nunchucks so 2 players can easily play. I would not bother with 3 or 4 Motion Plus, but 3 or 4 remotes is really useful for multiplayer games.
You don't NEED the plastic adaptors such as golf clubs, wheels etc - but you can get these from Poundland etc rather than spending £10 - £20 on bits of plastic. Maplin also had a good set on clearance offer for £3.49 recently, if you can still find it.0 -

That is what you call good customer services :T
Well done to that Game for looking after you, and ensuring you go back to buy your games there !
Which branch was that out of interest ?0
