Hi,

I want to get a Nintendo Wii + Wii Fit with the balance board for my girlfriends christmas present. I have been having a look at bundles and this is the cheapest I can find: http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/12509831/White-Nintendo-Wii-Console-Bundle-including-Wii-Sports-Wii-Sports-Resort-Wii-Fit-Plus/ProductReviews.html

That doesn't include 2 Wii remotes which I would prefer; to save me having to pay out another £30+. Saying this though I think there is only 1 remote with any Wii console/bundle.

Can anyone find any cheaper or better deals?

Please note that I am fully aware that Amazon are going to put the wii on sale sometime this week at 60% off. I doubt I have a chance at getting one as I presume it would be sheer luck. I will attempt to but I do need a plan b, so I won't be purchasing until Friday anyway.

Tight times - does it have to be brand new? You can get them with a 12 month warrenty looking like brand new all around the net.

i personally use https://www.cex.co.uk , but im that tight i would recycle toilet paper if i could so its up to you.

There is a CEX in the city centre where I live, I have shopped there for years, mainly for Xbox games. I would prefer it brand new because it's a present. Plus I don't want a balance board that's already been used. Thanks for the link I never knew CEX had another shop outside of Manchester nevermind a website, haha.

OK, the missus wants a wii and the fitness and balance board thing. Obviously there will be a need for other games and controllers but I have only a limited idea of what is what.

I guess they come with a controller of sorts and I've heard that you need something else to make it more responsive. Then there is this nutchuck thing.

So please, can someone help me out and let me know what I need, do I need two of each and so forth. Thanks.

HELP!!!Yes...as above. I know nothing really about the Wii..beyond it's a lot of dosh! daughter would like one for xmas (I might add it'll be from grandparents too I think looking at price!) She would like one cos love playihng it at friends on wii fit. what do I need to buy apart from wii console , balence board and wii fit? Do I need numchukcs? sorry if terminology wrong, I know NOTHNG!

My limited research has thrown up the following but I still would like help here.

The controller thing basically needs and adaptor to make it more sensitive. I have no idea what this nut thing is, though I suspect it is another type of controller.

Also, what about recharging these things ? where does that happen or do you need to buy something else to do that ?

What seems obvious is that none of the packages come with enough pieces to do the job and you need to buy more stuff. Exactly what I have yet to find out. Perhaps someone in the know will come along and post up.
