My guess is that if your income is so low that you cannot pay more than £10 per month, she thinks you might be entitled to benefits.

And my other guess is that she thinks that if you can afford a pre-paid master card, you can afford to pay the company more than £10.

So she wants to know what you are earning.

And you have still not posted a SOA here, despite lots of requests. What happened to the excel file you were going to put up a month ago?

Posting an soa on here is not mandatory. I have been on here for a fair while ands i have not done mine yet. It takes some guts to do it and see it in black and white. But i will eventually. Whatever anyone posts and they are asking for advice then i would hope we give it without any of us judging each other, Even if it does not help that particular poster then i am sure someone else will benefit from the advice given. A request for the soa is only so we can give more accurate advice. And thats it. nothing else. And as far as debt collection agencies go, well lets not even go down that road. My father was asked the same thing last week by a muppet. Why dont you get your family to go for attendance allowance. that way you will get more money and you can pay more towards your debts. reason they asked that. He has cancer. He is 80 yrs old. And thhis DCA have been chasing him for the last four yrs.

I only found the last cou[ple of weeks about this. They said they would remove his goods from his home. Said they dont need a court order. We all have reasons for not doing things and burying our heads in the sand, sometimes we do not know how to deal with things. my dad has been paying them 4.00 a month for i dont know how long. he misses a month and they are on the phone constantly. Not anymore from this week. Sorry gone off thread and got on my soap box, sorry simon . If you prefer to send me a pm with your soa, if you feel you want to it then please feel free. !!!! i dont know why i have got really would up. sorry everyone. not like me. Hi thank you , I am embarassed of my soa but i got my credit files and the situation is i have a couple of settled defaults showing as satisfied and i owe barclays down to £910 , though my credit file doesn't show that i am paying back barclays the defaulted ammount?

besides my daya yo day bills rent etc the only bad debt i have on file is barclays , my other bills are under control , thank you so much guys but the war is not over yet.

How do i fix my credit? I tried applying for a capital one credit card to spend £1 per month on to build my credit they rejected me. How do I appeal and will they accept an appeal?

thank you boo boo i am waiting for your pm , good news barclays finally sent me my statements since i opened my account and i will be highlighting all interest charges and adding them up will let you know how many pennies they owe me from over the years i hope it is alot.:beer:

Just watched martin's video on reclaiming bank charges and he says i can report barclays to financial ombudsman for closing my account and refusing to accept reduced payments as i had just graduated etc , worth a try , the main thing is i offered to pay and my bank manager just cut me off and left me in the cold i just want justice!

barclays did not send me 6 years worth of statements they sent 4 i will be writting asking for the rest

the load is less by the day but i must admit paying off debt is addictive just like jogging , this month i have paid off too much and left myself with no money for travel to work etc all going to pay off my debts lesson learn't i really cant wait to be free

Hi , Barclays have offered me a 25% settlement of my debt to them?

If i accept this will it affect my credit rating?

Is there any way I can ask them for more than 25% is it negotiable?
