hubby has a pasta bake for dinner. ds is out all day too. shall see what/if i fancyy anything later

    hope everyone is well

    Morning all,

Beautiful day here after all the rain :j, washing basket is empty, so need to go on a washing hunt, dont want to waste the sunshine :D

OH is still off poorly, it really throws my routine when he is here :rotfl:, I dont do half as much as normal and I am sure he thinks thats a nornal day for me :o

Cooked a gammon yesterday, had it for dinner last night with mash and peas and pickles, will have it tonight with chips grilled tomatoes and sweetcorn, and tomorrow night as carbonara :D, kept the stock I cooked it in for soup, it looks like a bag of wee in the freezer :rotfl:

General tidy through today, then I want to get into the garden, lawn needs doing, and the back hedge needs a cut, and some general tidying and weeding.

Tiredmum fingers crossed for you xx

    welcome to newbies x

    FB enjoy TT xx

    Have fun all,

PS more listing on Ebay today, I bought a broken pair of binoculars for £2, OH has fixed them so they have gone on, and I found dd's bratz + polly pocket collection, both of which seem to go well, so will stick those on, DD can have the profit from her sales.

    Morning all

I have a slight allergy to pineapple. Sometimes I can eat it fine no problems, but other times it makes my mouth tingly and swell a little. It did that lat night! And I still have 2/3rds of the pineapple left. Doesn't stop me eating it though :rotfl:.

    Have a great day all

    x

Please please be careful! Often a slight allergy can be made worse the more you eat the offending item! My dd has oral allergy syndrome and is allergic to raw apples, pears and cherries all fruits she loves but now needs anti histamine and if it is really bad an epi pen! Don't want to alarm anyone but this is becoming a real problem now!

I have lots more wedding stuff to prep for dds wedding next week, the bunting is made for the sweetie table and the fabric hearts which we will hang from the trees in the walled garden (if the weather is ok) still have the name tags (little blackboard hearts) to do and the orders of service to assemble! Life will seem so quiet after this wedding.

Hoping to go see my new little granddaughter afterwards, so hard being so far away from her, but can show my love in other ways and am hoping to get some more knitting done for her now. Just need to find cheap (ish) train tickets!

Just had hm smoothies for breakfast, using up the oddments of fruit and froz bananas, lunch will be soup and crackers and dinner whatever I find at the bottom of the freezer poss salmon steaks as I know they are in there somewhere!

Off to do some flyladying here as house a mess, as I've been ill the last 2 weeks and it shows!:o

Flutterby - enjoy Take That, one of my FB friends was on the front row and isn't going to wash her hands again as two of the members touched her hand :rotfl: Sad thing is I know Robbie, Mark Owen and Gary's names but can never remember the other two. clearly not a mad TT fan :o

Welcome newbies hope you can stick around :D

Had DS in tears this morning about going to school. I know some of it is tiredness as he was up so early but the last week or so he's been going on about not wanting to go back to school again :( So he was trying so hard not to cry this morning it made my heart break (and made me very close to have a wee sob myself) so teachers are going to have a chat and see if they can decipher what's bugging him as what he tells me makes no sense :(:(:(

Bizarre. I get far more done when he is here. I feel the need to prove that I am contributing.

About to hang out first load of washing and praying for a dry day as I still have tons to get through!
Bitsy - I hope you get to the bottom of DS upset, I really hope he isn't being bullied? My DS was having a terrible time with bullying and wouldn't say anything. He was terribly depressed for ages, then one day he came home late on a Friday with such a bruise I decided to go into school and speak to the teacher on the Monday. Stupidly I waited to the end of the day and when I got there my niece ran to me to say my DS had been choked unconcious by the bully at playtime. The schools response? A stern talking with the bully and MY DS had to stay in at breaktime from then on so they could be sure it didn't happen again -not the bully! I really regret not going to the police but at the time I was on anti-depressents and having councelling and I just couldn't cope.
Anyway enough of glum things! Have a great day everyone and I hope everyones aches and pains clear up soon x
