Asda - ripping you off then covering it up

I work on the checkouts in Morrisons and agree it is very annoying for customers if an offer doesn't come off but it is the computers' fault not ours!
We cannot possibly know every offer in the shop but every day I tell a customer that something they have bought is on offer and would they like another. Also why is it a problem that the till roll ran out?0 -
I find Sainsburys overcharge me constantly. Another pet hate of mine is that they have a sign for a BOGOF or reduce price and it is over the wrong thing. I remember Sainsburys having two boxes of packet potatoes and one lot were a £1.00 off. The expensive ones were in their space and the cheap ones in the expensive ones place. It happens a lot and I feel it is on purpose. They also have BOGOFS and run out quickly and seem to take ages to replenish. All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0

Strangely enough my original complaint was finally resolved recently.
Asda sent me a 20GBP card and an apology. Seems my letter got snared in the post office sorting machine.
I had already got a 10GBP card from my earlier emails to Asda customer services.
Therefore my original post would seem a bit unfair. However had they not overcharged in the first place!!
Apology accepted.0 -
I think Asda are always really good. I have an incident the other week on crisps they were 3 for £3 and they charged me individually for them I was out of pocket by 54p which yes isn't a big deal but its the principal. I realised this in store and went to customer services where they refunded my 54p and gave me a £2 gift card. I know Morrisons are bad at getting there prices wrong. My brother works there and I think its due to the amount of offers they have and how frequently they change them.0

I think Asda is great! I can honestly say i havnt had any problems with them.
My sister is forever returning clothes (not because they are badly made, but because she suffers from OCD so wont try them on in the store because she thinks that the changing rooms are dirty) and they have never once kicked up a fuss.
I think that there products are fairly priced, and its not surprising that some items will come out too expensive/too cheaply.:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my knickers:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:0 -

I was in ASDA today and bought 2 packets of chips and noticed on my receipt that they were on a multibuy offer saving 92p. There had been no mention where I got them!0

Yep, me too. Often, when I've bought htings from Asda, the till price haas been cheaper than the already reasonable label price. Good old Asda I say.
I wonder if some people have problems in certain stores - it's no excuse, when a genuine mistake has been made, it should be rectified, but I can't think of any other reason.
My asda is in Norwich, and whilst I cn't pretend it's the greatest 'shopping experience', it's good value, staff are friendly and helpful, and the products generally good quality.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0
