Anxiety has kicked in again. I can't get a handle on this debt thing, payments leave my account left right and center... when you think they've been accounted for then they come out days later tipping you over the edge, it's really not fun. People seem to have luck with magical lump sums they seem to find like a PPI claim or an inheritance... nothing like that for me... just feel so down :(

Just caught up, you think yours is ramblings? I'm on however many pages with mine and that's since October *sniggers*.

You seem to get really stressed with your money and don't know what's going or coming from your account. I can really relate to this as it's what was happening to me. Have you called up any of your creditors to see if you can get the interest reduced on any of them at all?
Looking at your SoA it looks like after expenses and debts are paid that you have £346 leftover. If your SoA is accurate then you should be able to kill off your two highest interest debts (studio & credit card 2) in one swoop :)

Your overdraft charges you stupid money each month, are you able to throw the extra £346 at that the following month? It would soon clear down to the lower interest rate.

Also, do you have a calendar detailing what goes out when and for how much? This should help you keep track of spending.

I wouldn't get too caught up with those of us that have paid over £1k on the DFBX challenge, I earn over twice your wage and only have myself to feed so am able to throw £600/mnth at the debt. I'll be cleared long before xmas but intend on staying to help encourage others :)

Aww thanks Kerri, yeah you have a LOT of pages haha! I go through stages of being like 'OMG I have to sort this' to 'Meh it'll be ok' it's like financial bi-polar!

Yes exactly, the SOA does make it seem there could be a glimmer of hope for debt free by Xmas which would be lovely, however got a few things to save for too so shall have to make some serious extra money somewhere!!

I plan to pay off my credit card and studio account this month - cannot wait! 5 days til payday... not that I am counting lol!

Just need to stay focused and get it down as much as I can by October for when I apply to the RAF and it will be fine, I have a good report (I think!) so I should be ok!

    Thanks again Kerri!

    New pet hate.

'Friends' (ie: people you knew at school but never really spoke to) who try to pressure you into buying stuff that they have made. Currently it's phone charms... I really don't want a phone charm...

    That is all.
