They dispatch from Hong Kong and sometimes things take a while to arrive.
Customer service at CDWow is not the best either.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

Since 30 November I've placed 9 seperate orders with CDWOW. To date I've received 6 of them. 2 of the remaining 3 have recently been despatched & the third is pending despatch. Not worried at all about the last, as from past experience it will be with me before Christmas. Contrary to what others have said I've always found CDWOW's Customer Service to be excellent.0

ive not had any problems with CDWOW.
I had a few vouchers so last week I ordered the extended trilogy of the lord of the rings for only a tenner. They were all in my hands within a week0 -
I had the same problem with the same dvd, with the £5 voucher. They told me they wont be getting it till after christmas, so i cancelled it.
This should be stated on the webbie instead of them taking our money and us waiting round for something that they can't even get hold of.0 -
if you do get a reply it will only say that they are having trouble
getting it from their suppliers.I dont think their customer service is bad,i just think its nice to be told the truth rather than beat round the bush!I heart The Capital0 -
It's worth pointing out that whilst cd-wow suggest if you order by the 17th December you will receive in time for christmas it is actually very unlikely! I've already waited over a week for several despatched orders, I rarely receive inside a week when they are at their most ultra efficient!0

Me too - have used CDWOW for years now and found them very helpful.
Once goods have been dispatched is usually with me in a couple of days.
I ordered a CD on 30th nov and 10 days later it was still showing as pending - I e-mailed them and got a similar response but didn't want to cancel and re-order elsewhere and a few days later it was dispatched. Hang in there (I expect the Take That stuff is in demand this christmas)0 -
Glad to see I am not alone. This is my first order with CD Wow, placed on 7 Dec using the £5 voucher and done through pigsback - I have my piggypoints but no DVD - still pending. No response from my emails but I don't need one now as I am sure they will be the same as yours. The cynic in me thinks that they hope I will cancel my order so they don't have to pay the £5. May buy it as a back up from the shops as it is a pressie and hope to return it if the other one arrives. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

I have to say I had excellent service recently. I ordered something using my free £5 capitalone voucher to discover b/f had bought it too. SO I emailed requesting if it was possible to cancel. Within 24 hours I had a response, a refund and a new £5 voucher to use. And an email of apology even though it was not their fault.
I realise this does not help if you want the product before Christmas, but to give them credit, they are usually very good.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking.
