help! cdwow

I dont know where to post this so ive stuck it here if it needs moving
fell free to do so
I ordered the take that ultimate tour dvd for my sister in-law on the 3rd of December with one of those £5 voucher codes.it was in stock. The money was taken out my account on the same day (3rd December) but it still hasnt been despatched 12 days on.Im angry as i needed it for tomorrow and thought it would surely be sent in time.after many emails im still getting the same reply of "we are having trouble getting it from our suppliers".I dont bl**dy care if they are having trouble getting it ,what i want to know is why they have allready taken the money from my bank account and not sent it.
Do they have the right to keep my money for 12days without despatching the item?
What do i do next?

I think from the distance selling regulations they have up to 30days after taking money to supply the goods, after that you can charge them interest..

something like that .. check it out with consumer direct.. they willhave the correct information to hand.

I ordered a dvd as an xmas present with that code offer too, and it wasn't showing up on my account, so I got my other half to order it too with a £2 code from here, his order showed on his account, went through and arrived a couple of days ago. mine is now showing as despatched, but is yet to arrive. its the same dvd...
they have taken the money.

this is the email ive just received off them:

suppliers. We do have the item on order which is why we are accepting orders
from customers but I am afraid the suppliers cannot get us our copies.

This situation is as annoying and frustrating for us as it is for you and I
can certainly appreciate your feelings.

I assure you that we will try to dispatch this item as soon as we can for
you but if you do not wish to wait then please let us know and we will
cancel the order and refund you in full.

i want a boxing dvd for my dad for christmas.

well i'm a member of pigsback and i cashed in my points for a £7.99 cd-wow e'voucher.

Well my e-voucher arrived today.

i logged into my cd-wow accout and my e-voucher was accepted.

then i clicked next page to pay the balance.

and it came up with 'this page can't be displayed' so i went back a page, and i had lost everything.

So i started again. Well now the e-voucher can't be used as it says that it has been used before.

I've rang cd-wow and got through to an Indian fella who i just couldn't make head nor tale of.

Eventually after me keep saying pardon pardon :oops:

he told me that after 12 hours the code unlocks itself. :shock:
And i should be able to use it. so i'm going to have to wait until 10.00pm tonight to see if i can use it.

have any of you heard of this before.

Theres no problem , the e-voucher will work again . Its happened me a few times. Usually resets itself after about 6 hrs .

yes hes right,you will be able to use it after the 12hrs.this has happened to loads of peops.

does it realise that you haven't actually bought the product.

i think it just knows the code hasnt been used and validates itself again

I ordered a triple cd last week from cdwow and its still showing as pending. I have emailed them as wanted for Xmas. I didnt use any code but paid the full amount and have heard nothing. As this is really needed ive now reordered from another supplier as I would rather have a second one to sell on than no cd to give as a gift. My payment was taken by cdwow immediately the order was placed.
