  • The cynic in me thinks that they hope I will cancel my order so they don't have to pay the £5.

    I feel the same, wanting me to cancel so I loose my £5 voucher. They are usually really quick to respond to emails but I am still waiting to see what they have to say about in the delay in dispatching my dvd.

    thats exactly what i thought.
    im not willing to cancel my order,where else could i buy the take that dvd
    for £7.25?? im money saving :money: and not willing to pay the prices last minute in
    the high street.ive told sil it may take longer than expected but when it states on the site as somebody poined out if you order by the 17th it will come by xmas.i ordered 11days before this deadline.ill just harrass them till they give it me!!!:D

  • I too ordered on this date, it did take a while but finally came yesterday, but I ordered two and these did come from hong kong I think, thats why they take so long

    I too have been waiting for an item ordered on the 30th Nov, however I have received 2 email updates and the despatch is now earmarked for the 18th Dec. I'm am planning to place an IOU from Santa in my daughters stocking if it doesn't arrive on time! (Small part of her main pressie).

    My fingers are crossed!

    All my other orders have been received.

    I placed an order for Prison break DVD (my nephew's xmas pressie) on the 17th of November. It has still not arrived.

    I have emailed them numerous times, asking where it is and have never even had a reply from them.

    My latest attempt was last night at 11pm, asking them to reply by 10am this morning, nothing yet.
    I even put a read receipt on the email, but no reply to that either.

    Their customer service stinks. It seems like they are just ignoring me.

    Are there any other ways to get in contact with them, besides

    Once again I am a cynic. It seems that lots of orders have despatched today and I wonder if this is just a way of CDWOW of now blaming the mail system for the delay in receiving our goods when in reality my DVD is sitting on some warehouse somewhere. CDWOW CS has been so abysmal I don't know if I will order from them again, they still have failed to answer any of my emails sent over the past 5 days.

    I agree about their customer service, in the past they have been very quick to respond to emails when they could answer my questions but I have yet to receive a reply on my email concerning late despatch of items ordered.
