Hey Beanie. I'm off to have some pizza and a glass of turner's road chardonnay, courtesy of Mr T. I'll be back soon, probably a little more mellow.

I think it's £25 a lesson here at the mo Beanie - silly money really.

  • Hi everyone,

Quite a lot of news on my end, good and bad. Doing my 3rd year of uni as 'assessment only' has been an absolute disaster since I didn't get a student loan when I was told I would. So I had to try and complete 1 and a half's years worth of work along with a full time job. Which didn't quite work out all that well so I'm going back again as a full time student for a year from Sept. I'm doing better than my OH though, he hasn't got through the last year at uni at all! So he's decided to jack it in for a while and we're moving in together from Sept. :j  :j We've got a lovely little two bed place (the agency was out of 1 beds) so we'll have a spare room. Also, it comes with a strip of weeds that could loosely be termed a garden so I might see if I can do anything with that over the year.

That's my big news for the time being. Also, someone ran into the side of my car the other week so I'm in the middle of arguing with my insurance company over whether my usual mechanic can do the work and whether or not they want to write it off. If they try, I'm buying it back and getting it fixed, at his prices I can do it at a profit so I can get some other stuff fixed at the same time. So yeah, other than that, nothing new at all.

PS Depends on when you're meeting, I'm going back up north at the end of this month 'til Sept.

Good news on moving in with OH Kayleigh.

Beanie - driving lessons are very expensive - lets hope he learns well and doesn't take too long.

I'd like to join LMC in a hot choc but think I may need the milk for brekkie :( Too cold to go out again after getting wet earlier.

Off to do some knitting and try not to think of hot choc!

I lurked alot but posted occasionally - what a lot of news everyone has - both good and bad. I was just thinking the other day that I would need to log on and see what everyone was doing these days. My OH didn't really like me on here (not exactly sure why but he said something about airing dirty laundry etc) so stopped coming on.
I am almost debt free - OD's are both clear. Tesco CC was clear but bought a new bed as doing up my bedroom (well OH was supposed to pay but hasn't yet!) but it will be cleared next month.
The reason I logged on today was that with more disposable income and less debt I have found myself spending more on nothing - food shopping was £150 this week!!! Thought I woud have a mooch on here to see if I can get some motivation back

Any way nice to see heveryone
