Don't bring any emotional baggage into it. It's just a thing you have to do to get them to pay you what you've paid for. It's just an act, just part of a game. You're just a number to them, no reason why they should be any more to you.

It's a bit like way back when (* insert harp sounds here *) when the Professionals was on the go. Martin Shaw used to complain to Gordon Jackson about how the series/scripts etc were way below him and he was worth so much more. Gordon Jackson's reply: "Just say the words laddie."

And that's Gordon Jackson who each morning would wipe and flush away more acting talent than Martin Shaw *ever* possessed.

So when I used to sign on, I went to the dole office and said the words. Then left and was cheerful.

All of the kids are good, Amber is a handful, more so than ever. We have a cocktail of hormones and autism which is a challenge to say the least.

Jas is whole story, but basically I've been told I have to home educate her because our wonderful condems have cut so much from the education system they no longer have the resources to fund her 1-1 in the lessons she struggles in. So, I was asked to remove her from school in feb because her behavour was bad in the classes they threw her back into. Cue, battle with the education dept who really couldn't care less. She's ok though

I tell you, blink again and the kid will be starting school. It goes so fast.

The midwife thing is ok. I'm not sure if I want to do it forever to be honest. It was really something to pass the time while I waited for my wrist to heal. It's clear now that isn't going to happen so I need to decide what I want to be when I grow up. I dunno...

I'd probably go back to working within the music industry, maybe go back to lights, but I can't tour with having the little one so little and the older kids needing me still, plus touring never was my thing. Who knows, I'm sure it'll all figure itself out in the end. xx

Yes but we don't know whether you are Judi aged 24, Judi born 1924 or Judi at no. 24, its not exactly public is it...and it really helps clarify things and helps me motivate myself.

She'll get better as things settle down. Then a new load of challenges will kick in. She'll stop you getting staid in your old age.

What does she struggle in? Why does she struggle in them, is it something she doesn't like/not interested in/finds too easy?

Well actually, they don't care. You either fit into their "model" or you don't.
