  • Ames, I know where you're coming from regarding the OU. I'm no longer a student with them; the second attempt at DD202 was making me ill. Plus I was spending more time on the internet attempting to find out what certain things meant.

Good luck with Leeds Uni, if it's something you want you will get it.

Banbury is fine by me, so long as it's not in August as that's when the DH is home and we're going away and then going to a stag/hen weekend in NY!

Claire, Elfen's been on bookofthefaces recently and she seems fine.

If it's done when the kids aren't off - accommodation will be cheaper.

That's very true. Also best to avoid the 7-9th October when it's the folk festival.

Well I did even worse after my last message and spent half the afternoon watching the finale of SYTYCD.........and then napped and missed kirk..

Just spent half an hour on townsmen 6 too (hence I missed kirk...you're allowed to be late but only by 1/2 hour)......I'm so not having a good Sabbath..

The weirdest thing is though I've not been out the house, not spent any money and am surprisingly content.....

Lovely to hear from you Pap - hope your road trip goes well! Yes my DDs are growing fast DD1 turns 16 at the end of the year, she's doing some of her gcse modules at the moment so it's a bit stressy with her. DD2 turned 13 a couple of weeks ago and she's very good at it.....this teenage malarky is worse than the terrible twos!!!!

Noticed yesterday that the place we looked for flooring for the new house had a sale on, it typically only lasts til Tuesday but they said they would honour their sale price if we put down a deposit so we bit the bullet and provisionally ordered the new living room, dining room, hall and smallest bedroom floors..... . The current flooring in those rooms has been down nearly 30 years and really does need sorting before we put any furniture in there. We saved over £400 so very MSE :T
