I find total jobs quite good. Also google what you are looking for and see what comes up. So if I google 'housing jobs' https://www.allhousingjobs.com will come up with https://www.insidehousing.co.uk and the guardian.

Don't forget to think laterally aswell. So go and see careers folkies and try and identify where your skills can be applied.

If you are being made redundant ask for any relevent courses before you finish - they will be feeling guilty so its a good time to strike.

Ironing done, and just having a quiet 5 mins before showering and starting dinner. Dad comes over on a Sunday so need to think of something he can eat. He is 90, with all his own teeth but he does find some meat tougher than others!

And then I wear it and promptly get it dirty...what's with you doing the ironing? You sickening for something hun?...not even SAHM's do the ironing (and I'm talking Mom's of 4-12 kids)....

It is really nice to hear from so many of you - facebook status's don't give the full picture and look how many of us are debt free or very close to it. It is a shame we didn't get a chance to celebrate with each other with that bit of news as it was debt that bought us to this site in the first place.

I have no idea what 'kitkating' is but it sounds crude...Do I lead such a closeted life or is this just a southern expression

Other offers for the meet include camping in Aberdeenshire....somewhere close to a bus route preferably.....(think there's a good campsite MacDuff way or like in Royal Deeside but if we go for the Deeside idea I'm thinking not one that's 101 miles from the main road and buses...but there's plenty of campsites round here.

If not, if you fancy an Aberdeen meet sure I can help get folk set up with couchsurfing of which there's about 100 young or so folk willing (well maybe less now uni has finished) to help put you lovely peeps up...Or else we can just camp on Balmedie Beach (fab beach!!!)

Aberdeen is accessible via road, rail, megabus and air..(easyjet from Luton and Gatwick) and there's not much to do but we'll have ourselves. ...not many shops either so it could well be very MSE...:T though there is the maritime museum which is well worth a visit and the art gallery...:D

I'm all for bartering the price of coffee and scones out

Only say this cos I missed kirk this morning due to being fixated on Sabbath... Each to their own. I am no man's keeper bar myself......this is just the lesson learnt today...
