even if they made a boo boo and took money, any consequential losses (interest, bank fees, etc) as a result of their negligence can claimed back from them - or take them to court!
Yes you can be charged before despatch, Woolies charged me straight away for a order i placed even tho it took 3 weeks to arrive0 -
The only way you would have gotten this TV is if you bought it instore and paid then you have formed a contract and they have to honour the deal or you could sue them for "loss of bargain", buying online and no payment has been taken then a contract has not been made.
Some you win some you loose, if the guy who spotted the error kept quiet and not posted on here he might have got a cheap tv

If it was a publicity stunt they shouldn't have taken the money.Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive0 -
"Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between us will take place when we send you an email confirming that the goods you have ordered have been despatched to you unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with our cancellation and returns policy."
It says " on despatch " is when the contract is formed . Taking the money one would hope means that they have accepted the contract terms & conditions to supply you .
Its a very grey area all this taking money & NOT fulfilling . The T&C's seem to totally contradict the Sale of Goods Act which I think states once the money has been taken then the retailer MUST supply . I'm not a consumer lawyer so I would like to be educated on this point if necessary .0
