Sharp 32" LCD TV £150 At Woolworths !!

Mines been cancelled as well with no e-mail or anything.
They still have the products on the website along with about 5 Beko's which are also at £150 but the links no longer work. I have pdf'd each of the pages that list the products and they are obviously in a dodgy situation where they are displaying products that they have known they will honour the deal on and will not supply a number of hours after they were aware of the problem.
My complaint to trading standards is in the process of being written along with all the evidence I have gathered.
Although they claim the right to cancel orders where an error is made I'm sure that they have certain responsibilities regarding the sales of goods act and the laws relating to the advertising of products & prices.0 -
The prices on the website have now been corrected..0

i think they think if they ignore everyone and pretend it didnt happen the problem will go away!0

Try this
Woolworth prices 42-inch HDTV at £150 thousands have been misled
WE MAY HAVE just broken Woolies. The website seems to be down, the customer service line doesn't work and the Woolworths Group PLC contact number just rings and rings. More from your INQHack on the ground as it happens.
A WOOLWORTH'S web site is pricing the Aquos LCD TV, a 42-inch version, at £150 which is possibly a fab bargain.
But more probably it is a SNAFU and this one is just too good to be true.
Desite this !!!! up,, no telly, no compesation, no apology,

Well it will won't it? Their terms and conditions clearly state that misprices will not be honoured so there is no legal reason why they have to provide the goods and as to all the people ranting about it not being fair and a con - ergh do you really think most reasonable people would expect to get an upper mid range 42" LCD TV for £150?
I ordered knowing that it was very very very very unlikely, well actually pretty much impossible, that the misprice would be honoured but that it was worth two minutes effort on the off-chance. Like, I expect, about 99 out of the 100 people who did.Joe

Complaint about what? It was a clear misprice and both their T&C's and the law is pretty clear on this."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0
