Hi Aesop came across another thread where you had posted it didnt realise you had posted it on here to thanks, DH listed some items but they never sold
and congrats on your new star, hope some luck comes your way as your are so helpful to loads of us on here.
Seems i still have a bit of Subbie work coming in went in for my last day for on wednesday to get told that she still wanted me to do a few jobs so maybe about £200 a month just need to be careful how many times I have to go pick up the work as this could eat in to it alot.
Had the letter from Halifax yeasterday to tell me that they are transfering us to SVR so hopefully with the work and the cheaper mortgage we are hoping to try and get rid of one of the cards this year. Going to be hard but want to aim high !
Just got to hope DH is still ok with new spreadsheets as have discovered he is the source of some missing money, so hoping to get him to work harder.Next step is to try and get him to leave for work earlier as he always waits till last min and then gets stuck in loads of traffic so using up more fuel.
I am going painting steel again at the weekend so hopefully another £50 to put to the pot, already told family just doing very small gifts this year we have been far to generous over the years and sometimes only ended up with rubbish back lol£10 a day challange Feb 27/435 Jan 530/465

that's ok hun. I try to post on your and PBS' diary to let you know in case you don't see it on MSE elsewhere.
My DH has finally realised he cannot keep spending the way he has been, we just cannot afford to live. Which is good. Although he kept saying to me yesterday, you didn't help me with this that and the other. The problem is this that and the other are issues he needs to deal with on his own. He cannot expect me to be his crutch and that annoys me.
oh well.
are you doing mccains hun? I am using the vouchers from this for xmas pressies this year. free and means they all get the same,0 -
Got to admit i found it a lot easier being a single mum as I made the decisions and did not have to worry about another person spending !I think some men just take a lot longer to grow up my DH was an only child to a mum who never left home she still lives with her mum now and he was spoilt rotten by his mum and grandparents.
What are Mccains did read about it on a thread but could not find it !£10 a day challange Feb 27/435 Jan 530/465

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Husbands
Spoke to him several times about the new spreadsheet and he agrees now he is complaining again I know he is the one wasting money and starting to wonder if we will ever be out of this mess. When we first got together we had plenty of money coming in and gave ourselfs £200 pocket money a month the joys of no kids in childcare or nappies etc. which I was over the moon with as never had much money! But realised that he still used house account to buy all his toileteries and he gets through them so fast its like a gas room after he has used the stuff also his magazines hair cuts etc where also paid from house.
Can see why I had a 3 bed house worth £140,000 (mortage of 59k with a child and low wage job while he was paid double the amount and a bonus and only lived in a two bed worth £100,000 (Mortage of 52k) I made the mistake of letting him deal with the bills etc and more and more I think of it, it was a big mistake
was so happy this morning paid an extra £150 of the cc.£10 a day challange Feb 27/435 Jan 530/465

word of warning.... anyone who was with pigsback... you have lost your points

I will say this to anyone, don't leave your money/points etc sitting in paypal, daily clicks/cashback sites, waiting for big payout, always cash out as soon as possible. I know with things like amazon, you usually need £20 for a voucher, but if you can get to to it, cashout as quick as youcan.
pigsback changed overnight, with no prior warning :mad:0 -
Not been on here for a while but can't wait till next month as will be on a cheaper mortage yeah
Also managed to get a bit more work in to pay for kids party for next month, got so much expense over the next couple of months 3 family birthdays ds2 dd1 and my mum in november then got christmas also my cars MOT. Also managed to sort out with DH about the spreadsheet although he is calling me a money grabber as I keep asking him how much he has well everything I get i pay into the house and all the child benefit goes on the kids so I have no money yet he goes to the gym buys games etc also hair cuts very month. Mine has only been cut once this year and that was free as was by a student a friend of a friend who needed to do a cut for her course. Thankfully got long hair which i just tie up all the time prob makes me look younger having pony tails (as I am short at 5ft) had someone come to the house and ask if my mum was at home yesterday lol£10 a day challange Feb 27/435 Jan 530/465
