    Morning Tebheag

How are you this fine day. Sun shining here:j
Have caught up with your diary eventually. Just wanted to ask, what other veg or fruit do you grow. Do you bake!

I have a plum tree, Cherry tree, pear tree and my new addition this year is a necteren tree (got couple of plants on it)
I asked DH for a tree instead of flowers for mothers day.
I do little baking but need to get back into it as used to do loads I do a lot of homecooked meals but I think I am terrible as i add way to much meat so trying to cut it down.

    Good morning to all

Have finally updated my sig showing the true mess we are in have moved credit cards to 0% as DH keeps getting offers have worked out we have about £600 a month to pay towards all this plus any extra we can find or save each month! going to try and get rid of the overdraft by next pay day fingers crossed. Was naughty yesterday and spent about £84 on shopping but did get a lot of toiletries and washing stuff was on offer so picked it up did not need any for another month though also bought flowers for my mate as she has just moved into a new house (has split from her hubby).
Aaaah looks like rain and got washing to dry !

(((((Tebheag))))) the men in our life do not realise how much is involved in looking after a little one or two or more, cooking, cleaning, etc and then on top of that trying to make money, save money etc I know how hard it is to work from home when you have a little one or more.

You can't ignore them to work, and when they have gone to bed, you are tired and really don't feel like working for hours again. I empathise and sympathise! :(

    Hello.

Your thread sings to me as "wishing my life away till the debt is less" often feels like something I do. I eagerly await the next payday so I can bust the credit card debts. Then the last few months I've been waiting eagerly for a small loan to be paid off and the fixed rate to end on the mortgage so that goes down. Then I'm wishing the months away till Christmas when another loan ends.

I also had to get my other half on board and to stop spending on the credit cards and cancel some of Sky (but he wont easily part with his technology toys etc).

One thing I discovered recently was I thought I was budgeting OK but was only budgeting month to month. I now keep a little money back for those yearly bills like car insurance. Every year I would get the debt down and then it would go back up with the yearly bills.

Just remember it's baby steps. Sometimes stuff will try to bite you in the bum and make it harder. Never give up. I find myself getting frustrated that the debt isn't going away quicker but then have to remind myself that it was 4.5 years in the making.

Aesop thats what we are here for to help others as we help ourselfs.(well I am anyway) I am more than happy to listen anytime if you want to rant ! Did have a look to see if you had a diary but not spotted one. I also hate my job as work one day a week in the office which is a 3 hour round trip if traffic is good and then take bits home to do in the evenings did do couple of days while kids where in nursery but found myself paying for nursery when i had no work to do as i am subcontract only paid hours i work. Would love a job which is local with fixed hours as seem to be having to speak to the office most days which I never charge for !
Fingers crossed something comes up soon for you

Been a while since i have on here to update not sure where the time has gone, have been busy trying some of the threads on here and reading up trying to get tips! There are some great stories and tips on here really wish I had participated sooner instead of just lurking every now and again.
