Anyone seen that Stacy Solomon got engaged at the weekend? The reason for sharing with you all is apparently on her twitter she put 'I can't believe he finally asked me' it did make me smile this morning

I think if OH does ever pop the question, it will be family, friends, changing my relationship status on facebook and then you guys here - then everyone in the world should know by then haha

Yup, after waiting 9 years, everyone knew very quickly, including complete strangers:rotfl:. I let everyone know on my ususal MSE home very quickly I assure you:D

Had to come on and post this from my phone as its quite unbelievable, sorry to all those hoping its a post to say he's proposed, its not that great....

OH was going through YouTube playing loads of motown tracks and we were bobbing away, then he said he was.saving them all in a folder for our wedding! I then said o wasn't keen on getting married over here so he said ok, we will take my parents, your mum away for it. I said I doubt his parents would travel as they've never been abroad and he said next time he goes round he will ask them as it needs to be fairly soon, while they are still able to travel :eek:

So he's going to ask them if they would go abroad to your wedding??? Girl I think that means you're engaged?????

Well I'm not going to get too excited yet, its not the first time he has referred to 'our' wedding, will have to see if he actually says anything to them?!

I think he just sees it as we agreed we both wanted to get married ages ago so it wad going to happen at some point. I did wonder if there would be an actual proposal but maybe not lol

Nor everyone get's a proposal, they just jointly agree to get married and so are engaged without the proposal. Maybe that's the way for you :j

jtr, how did you NOT ask "is that a proposal"? Did it just take you by suprise? It sounds like his will be very low key (mine was, more of a "let's do it" after never ever bringing the subject up before so it was clear the seriousness of his intent) I think you should feel free to go back to this convo and say "why don't we talk about dates and go for it".
