I will happily don my tin hat but...
6 years isn't commitment?0 -
DomRavioli, are you able to have a frank discussion with your other half? I think it's important to know where a relationship's going; whether either person does or doesn't want marriage or children are usually the biggies.
Good luck in getting what you want!0 -

He's been burned before. Psycho ex dumped him 3 days before the wedding, that was 10 years ago, but still haunts him a little.
I'll get there, and as frustrating as it is, he is worth the wait.0 -
I agree, the wait is worth it! Trust me he'll the message and he'll know when the time is right for you both. However there's no harm in dropping a few hints now and again.0

It must have been awful being jilted three days before the wedding :O But a long time has passed since then - as King Slayer says, maybe some hints would be good to shuffle him along!0

Oh my, that site is lethal! Already wasted hours on it :rotfl:
We go on holiday tomorrow - I'm not expecting anything to happen and tbh I won't be disappointed if it doesn't I think. As much as I'd like to be engaged to my OH, the move has cost us a lot and I would like a couple of months to recover before getting stressed about saving for a wedding.
That doesn't mean that I wasn't completely jealous of a friend who got engaged at the weekend though0 -

So glad I have found this thread!
I have been with my OH for nearly 5 years now. All of our friends are married or getting married, some have now moved on to having children.
We are about to move into our first home together, he says he wants to live together for a year before proposing.
He is the type to purposely not do something the more I ask him to, so we could be in for a long wait!0 -
