    I get it.

I was lurking on this thread around Christmas/early January and OH told me I wasn't allowed to post. I'm sure he's forgotten about the thread by now. :rotfl:

I'm less het up about it than I was because we're looking to move in together and looking for a rental has given me enough to think about. Plus I know he wants to live together before we get engaged which makes sense.

We've been together 10 years next month and friends are buying houses, getting engaged, having babies.. I always wanted to have my first child before I was 30 but it's important to me to be married first (I couldn't even tell you why) and as I am 27 the baby-clock has a bit of panic in the ticks!

So, my Dad is now home, and I will be going to see him next weekend. BF probably can't come as he will have to work. Please can everyone pray for some bad weather, windy, windy, then he wouldn't have to work and could come too, and then maybe he will pluck up the courage to ask my father....

We have just bought a house together, 4.5 years together, isn't it time yet???? lol

    fingers crossed for hieveryone!

  • The jewellers have started making the ring! :j Went and chose the diamond the other day. Took quite a few weeks to find sapphires in the shade I wanted. First lot were no good and then the jeweller didn't call us for another four weeks because he said he knew the ones that were coming in wouldn't be wanted I wanted so he kept sending them back until he thought they were the ones I was after. :T

Still don't know if I'm allowed it when its made or not. I don't like surprises...Don't even know what I will do next, I don't think I really want a proper wedding. Maybe I will be engaged forever..!

Yay for all the house buying. My contract makes it a bit hard for us to buy (fixed term for a couple more years as on a grad scheme), so I envy all of you. Nice time to be moving too :)

Ooo exciting GoldenShadow. I found him wandering around with one of my ring boxes the other day asking about the jeweler. He showed me the box and the ring in it was missing, queue me having a melt down only for him to string it out a bit and show me he was wearing it. (This is a ring an ex gave me as he knew i loved it and was saving so hard to get it. Saved enough to get it only to find someone else had bought it. Luckily it was him and i've still got it)

Sounds horrible, but we only bought the house because my crazy neighbour had tried to run me over, got 6 cronies to try and beat him up, and we just had to get out of there. But it was on the cards, just not the decision we were going to look, to completion in 2 months. But no crazy neighbour now

Lots of house moving going on! We haven't found anywhere we *need* yet. The last one was surprising (in a good way) but we're holding out for something slightly bigger if possible.

I haven't looked at dresses or rings for well over a week. Must be some sort of record! Admittedly I am distracted window shopping for plates and furniture etc. :rotfl:

DD265, Distraction is the best policy. My colleague is of to NY on the weekend and 90% he will propose.... wish it was me! hahahaha

So the BF is 90% sure he won't be able to make it to UK with me :(

I'd love to go to new york! with or without a proposal.

We;ve gone away on the spur of the moment to cottage in wales with my parents. He sees my parents often enough, but he's spending more time with the dogs than my parents!

Happy easter everyone, bit early but
