Hm.
OH asked my ring size.
I suspect it's just for a birthday present, however

The boss gave me a deadline to propose of next September (2015). Little did she know I had been planning the proposal for well over 12 months when I dropped to one knee outside Cinderella's castle in Florida (September 2013)0

They are all for you! And a dodgy hug too! :grouphug:
When i read about it on facebook it also is upsetting, but somehow this is different, helping my shipmate, can't really explain!
Heart-break star, i think it sensible not to get your hopes so, so then it is easier if it does not happen, however im still hoping for you, that you get your proposal!0 -
Andy that's mega-sweet
thank you Jojo, I will be keeping you all posted...I suspect I am being very spoiled for my birthday, which will be both awesome and aaargh as I didn't really spoil him for his!!

It's dreadful isn't it when all the signs are there but you can't be sure. Crossing my fingers for you and as you say, even if it is not THE ring, he is remembering your birthday and celebrating it properly, that's already more than what many get. I too absolutely love otters0 -
Well, no sign of a ring or a proposal, but apparently I'm due another gift that hasn't arrived yet *chuckle*
The otters were incredibly cute, we saw them being fed

Arggg, all I can say is that when you are finally married, you will look back at these times and really chuckle at the memories!0

Maybe the ring is the gift that hasn't arrived yet? I kept on checking all day yesterday to see if there was any news lol!0

Whenever I see a friend get married on facebook, I get down thinking why not me
It seems like everyone's getting married this summer! I think I've hit the age where all your friends get married, wish my OH would've proposed as promised before, then maybe we could get married on 31st Dec, it would be so romantic... Writing these, tears are streaming down my face.
I'm going to get some chocolates to ease the knot in my heart.
Perhaps you need to get a bit of perspective. Youve been dating a year.
And you are sitting crying because other people are getting married?
Lots of people dont get married a year to 18 months after they become a couple.
Dare I say it, if you push your partner, he may want to marry you, but if you put pressure on someone, its less likely to happen.
If you love him and he loves you and you are sure you are going to be together for a long time, a year or two of a wait really wont make much difference.
Whether your relationship is good and you are happy is the most important thing.0
