Hmmm tried to log in and got the "your account has been blocked" message. Contacted customer services on the site, only to receive the cryptic response: "My colleague will be in touch with you in the next couple of weeks regarding your future use of the Quidco site." To my knowledge I have received no prior contact. Also I have rarely used the site, last using it numerous months ago with the smart-phone app where you got a small amount of cashback for visiting a store.

Still I suppose there are numerous competitors out there who offer better rates and don't run away with £5 of your earnings. If Quidco doesn't want my money, who am I to complain?!

    Good afternoon,

@pec22001 – Thank you for confirming. I’m not sure what has happened there, but I’ve now escalated your transaction to our payments team for you. I’ve raised a support ticket in your account also to confirm this.

@mummy2elliekate – We’ve received updates to some of these but not all of them, our Administration Team are working through them at the moment. Can I ask you to please raise a support ticket via this link, and they can certainly advise further on this.

@mum26 – I’m afraid Sainsburys will only pay cashback on brand new policies only for home insurance, so if you were to renew then cashback wouldn’t be applicable, unfortunately!

@jasonwatkins – That’s great to hear, I’m glad we got there in the end!

@rosemary54 – we noticed a few members having issues yesterday, but I believe it should now be working. Are you still experiencing the same issue?

@deslorna – I’m afraid as rick@findthatfuchsia has stated, they will not accept cashback claims from us at this moment in time. We have been speaking to them over the past few weeks to hopefully get them to offer cashback claims, but at the moment they will not accept them, unfortunately.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie

  • There seems to be so many complaints on here [Some of which have been from me in the past!] but people rarely come back and post successes from Quidco!

Iv been a member of Quidco for 4 years but only started using it properly 2 years ago - I that time i have had a total of £975.15 paid to me for purchases i would have made anyway! Also the new Quidco check in app has earned me £27 over the past few months just for shopping on the High Street - So credit where its due thanks Quidco!

    Hi

I purchased sky through quidco and it did not track. I raised a claim for the £100 but was told they could not forward it to sky. I have not heard anything back and am about to pay my second bill. Is it possible to chase this up for me please?

Hi all, just wondering what experience people have had with Accor hotels?
Quidco mark it as faster paying stating 100% of transacitons are paid within 60 days. I have a transaction from 22 June which is still in tracked status - not even confirmed. I went to raise a ticket and got a quick reply saying quidco were already looking into it.

Also I noticed Hotels.com are marked as being faster paying but average payback speed is 4 months! Anyone know whether it is faster paying or not.

    Thanks

The 'Faster Paying' companies only launched this week i think so maybe the transactions prior to certain companies signing up to faster payments are taking longer?

  • I have been using Quidco for many years, £2,000 cashback. I have just had 2 transactions for Flexicover travel insurance declined, reason cashback paid to another merchant. The travel insurance was applied for a week apart through Quidco compare, I 100% cleared cookies and didn't go through any other comparison site. Very strange!!! One transaction would have netted me over £40.
    Not happy :(

After not being paid for a few payment runs, I contacted Quidco who said my account was blocked by their compliance team, and she'd forward my request to them. I've not heard anything for 3 days now and i'm worried! Does anyone know how long they usually take? I can't think of any reason why my account should be blocked, I've been with quidco for many years and this is the first problem i've had!

Ok, a problem for Rosie when you're back on.

    On 22 Aug 12 at 06:46, I get this ..
We're delighted to tell you that your Sky Digital Upgrades (TV and Broadband) cashback claim has been approved and now we're just waiting for them to confirm your cashback.
Once your cashback is confirmed and received by Quidco, we'll update your claim to "confirmed" status in your Activity Page.

    and then on 22 Aug 12 at 13:18, I get this ..
We have now had a response from the retailer and I’m afraid that they have declined your claim on this occasion as the commission for the referral has been paid elsewhere.

Both with regards to Sky. Have Quidco inadvertently declined the cashback because they've also confirmed it ?. If you could look in to this for me please rosie, i'd be grateful. thankyou :)

As far as "referral has been paid elsewhere", that's basically a complete lie because I've never had anything from Sky other than the £25 quid M&S Vouchers that were part of the Cashback claim.

I have waited over 4 months for my quidco cashback claim with sky to be confirmed and paid. It shows as tracked and that sky are being slow to pay but really is this good enough?

Don't hold your breath. I've just been informed by Quidco support that my cashback claim from Sky has been denied due to apparently the claim being paid to "another referrer" due to a mysterious cookie being present on my machine at the time of purchase.

I'm absolutely livid because it was for a total of £75 quid and considering my history with Quidco, It's not like I was going to half-!!!! it and just make the purchase without making sure my cookies and cache were cleared.

I even made sure to save all the various reference and account numbers in a text file in anticipation of the bloody support ticket I was expecting to raise !!

so when you are back on rosie, i'd like to know if both claims have been declined or just one please. either way, it's a crap decision and the wrong decision.
