  • Hi Rosie, I was just wondering if you have any updates on the Sky TV & Broadband "Wrong upload" issue?
    I purchased Sky online as a new customer on 5th March, at the time the offer was, IIRC, £85 for the package I chose. I completed the order fully online without a problem.
    A few days later I checked Quidco expecting to see that it had tracked but it hadn't, so on the 9th March I submitted a cashback claim, providing all the relevant details.
    However, by the 9th March the offer had changed from £85 to £60 so my claim ended up being for the wrong amount (I did bring this to one of the representatives attention at the time but got no response).
    On the 27th March I received a message from a representative saying that my claim would be put on hold for 9 days then passed onto Sky, the next message I received confirmed that this wasn't done until the 20th April.
    Then, on the 1st May I received the "wrong upload" message. I was promptly informed that this was a technical error and my claim was still being processed. On the 15th May I received a similar message saying the same thing and that it was still being looked into.
    Since then I have had no further updates.
    I was just wondering if you could tell me where this claim is at, as it had been over 5 months since my purchase, and also could you confirm the cashback amount for the 5th March for the package I selected was £85 and not £60? (it went down later in the week) and how I would resolve the incorrect amount showing in my claim?

    Hi Rosie, i've gone through quidco twice this week to buy pet insurance from Sainsburys for our cats. Our home insurance is also up for renewal, will sainsbury's consider me to be abusing their good nature if I end up choosing them do you think? £80 is really good cashback and I wonder if 3 x that is pushing it a bit?

    @prowla – Once a claim has been raised it is usually around 60 – 90 days before we hear anything back from the retailer, although it is sometimes quicker than this. Virgin Media do sometimes decline transactions, but to be honest their claim approval rate is very high, and we will of course pass the response we receive from Virgin on to you as soon as we receive it. If you feel the decline reason is incorrect then we can always investigate further, wherever possible.

    I can't get onto quidco site at all,keeps showing down due to maintenance back soon,been like this for about two weeks:mad:does not matter how I go to it either search or through emails I have,any one else got this?they owe me quite a bit of money so not very happy

    Very disappointed, my payment/booking has not tracked. No where does it say that there is a one hundred percent guarantee that you will NOT get your cash back. This is not right.

    Dear Quidco Team, why is this allowed?
    Why are they still on the Quidco webpages?

    This merchant does not accept any claims for untracked/declined or incorrectly tracked sales

    Always worth reading the T&C's first!

    Your computer is probably using the cached webpage from when Quidco was down due to maintenance.

    Clear Cookies and Temporary Internet Files and then try again.
