re: Jet2 Holiday - £30 cashback on completion of holiday. Claim unsuccessful. What can I do about this? It seems most unfair as I put in non-tracking claim at the time. All the details were correct and I also asked for help after I returned from holiday from Support who advised me I would need to check Jet2 Holiday website for payment time. From that I could see I needed to wait till around now before pressing further for payment.I have now received this reply:
Thank you for coming back to me.
I can see that the order number you have provided is the same as the order number on the claim and in this case I'm afraid it means that the retailer could not trace this order back to your Quidco account. When this happens it generally means that the referral commission that we would usually receive from the retailer, and pass onto you as cashback, has been paid to another referrer.
To explain further (and apologies if this seems a little technical) cashback is actually a 'referral commission' that Quidco receives from the retailer, for directing you to make your purchase through them. When you shop through Quidco, a browser cookie (a small piece of data on your browser) is recorded, and this shows the retailer that you visited them via Quidco. Sometimes, if you do not clear your cookies prior to purchase, you will have other cookies for different referrers on your browser, for example other cashback sites, search engines, comparison sites, to name but a few.
This means that on occasion, the retailer cannot identify exactly which referrer you made your purchase through, and will pay the commission to someone else other than Quidco. This is why we recommend clearing your cookies before making your purchase, to ensure that there are no other referrers for the retailer to pay the referral commission to. If you are at all unsure how to clear your browser cookies, do let us know and we can assist further, as this is something we'd recommend to do for any future purchases.
Regrettably once this has happened, we won't receive the commission to then pass on to you in the form of cashback.
I am very sorry for any disappointment this may cause but unfortunately we will not be able to take this any further for you.
I do not use other cashback sites or use referrals or anything similar. It did not track so I put in claim:.
10 Feb 16. My holiday was end April. Jet2holidays.com ref Quidco ref: 2146468
I am not on Twitter or Facebook, so it's no good suggesting I post there, so what is my next move? I sent all my holiday payment details to Quidco last week from which it is obvious I took this holiday.
It just seems like a 'con' to get out of payment.

Don't know if you'll get this today Joseph, but i'd be keen to know what the answer might be.
I'm trying to re-join Sky through Quidco and the Sky site keeps telling me I have to have a "Customer Check" as it appears i am already a Sky customer.
I've already rung Sky to clarify this and explained to them that I purchased a freesat card for my mum over a year ago which I registered to me at this address, mainly in case there were any problems. This is why it thinks i'm a current Sky customer, even though I'm actually not.
The person I spoke to has moved the address on the freesat card to my mum's actual address and was sure it wouldn't cause me any problems, but every time since it keeps telling me i have to have a customer check.
Where do I stand on the cashback if they have to manually complete the order at their end ?. They've emailed me to say that the order basket is still "live" and that i should complete the order, but i'm still having problems.0 -

Have done so, many thanks.“Rain drops are not the ones who bring the clouds.”0 -
Oh dear, it was all going so well. Apparently there is now a problem with my account - very small print above payment amount. My account seems to have multiple duplicate entries, so rather than too little, I now have way too much! You seemingly had sorted Jet2 for me, for which I am grateful, but payment has now been cancelled. I have sent another email to Joseph MSE.“Rain drops are not the ones who bring the clouds.”0

I'm running out of patience with Quidco and surprise surprise SKY they say it'll be resolved tomorrow (9th september) if it isn't this will be the 3rd estimated date that would of passed and i think a visit to the courts might be in order enough is enough.
I'm expecting the same hassle with my SSE claim nearly 2 months and nothing maybe i'll not pay SSE see how they like it.0 -
Hoping to get some help...
Signed up to BT phone and broadband, clicking through quidco for £140 cashback. Received an email a few hours later stating that there were issues with tracking BT orders and advising me to raise a claim, which I did.
Have since had a response telling me my order could not be tracked and I will not be receiving cash back. Having queried with BT themselves, they are saying that there was no valid cashback offer with quidco at the time I placed my order and as such they have rejected the claim. I have tried to contact quidco about this but am not getting response to my messages. Please help!0 -

Hi @Raine E Day
Thanks for your post.
That is being sorted as we speak, with a comprehensive fix expected to be rolled out today.

Hi @legendkiller2k8,
I'm sorry to hear that your estimated payment date keeps changing, and for any frustration this is causing.
Estimate payment dates are worked out by looking at how quickly a retailer has been paying us over the last 12 months.
We do like to manage your expectations by providing as accurate a date as we can, but as this is only an estimate, it is subject to change.
If the estimated date has already changed, do be assured we're already chasing this up for you with the affiliate network.
We will stay on the case to ensure your cashback is paid to you as quickly as possible.
I do hope this clarifies matters for you.
Kind Regards,
Joseph
