I don't know about other people's experience dealing with CS reps at Quidco, but I feel that I'm talking to the wall.
In the beginning of the year, I joined Property Moose via Quidco and purchased a share in one of their properties. I was extremely careful as the cashback was £50. So, I cleared all the cookies, autofills etc., closed the browser, re-started the browser and then logged to Quidco, went straight to this merchant, signed up, deposited and purchased the share - all in one go. No other browser windows, no delays, no "offline" consultations with the merchant.
Alas, it never tracked. So I raised a ticket, providing all the information that was needed. Late September the decision came back as negative. I responded that this was impossible, suggesting that I followed a very strict procedure, clearing cookies etc. One of CSs came back stating that they can't do anything and DESPITE the fact that in my message I had written that I had cleared my cookies, suggested that "next time I should clear my cookies". I went back asking them to look into the matter again, stating that I have already informed them that I had cleared my cookies. At this point someone, would have expected that Quidco will respond, PRETENDING that someone has read what I wrote in my two previous messages.
Alas, this wasn't the case. Another copied + pasted response, again talking about cookies. So, I went back stating that I wanted to raise a complaint about the fact that nobody seems to read what I wrote on two occasions.
Quidco came back quickly and guess what did they write about in their response. Yes, it was about clearing my cookies.0 -
Update, my Sse claim has come back as succesful, just waiting now for the cashback to show up.0

Well it's been a while, but I found out this morning i've been shafted - again - by the great Quidco gambling site swindle.
The first cut-and-paste email I received said that the retailer was refusing to pay, and then the second said that the cashback had been paid "elsewhere" and that there was "nothing we could do" - Translation: "Tough Sh*t".
I also got the condescending "advice" about making sure I clear my cookies and cache, so you can imagine that made me rather angry.
Has anyone else pursued these any further ?, or do I basically have to write it off and move on ?.0 -
I'm not impressed with Quidco at all.
I purchased a new car insurance policy from Direct Line via Quidco on 22/08/16. I've been using Top Cashback for years so I know what to do to make sure cashback has the best chance of tracking.
I completed my purchase wholly online, in the same browser window, with no ad blockers, and a confirmation message was posted on the Quidco browser tab to confirm my visit had been recorded. No trace of the cashback is showing in my account, so I raised a ticket. Direct Line was present in the drop-down list of retailers but when I selected missing cashback as the type of claim, a message was displayed informing me there is no record of my visit to the retailer.
I've never had a problem with Top Cashback but things seem to be going pear-shaped with Quidco. I raised a ticket anyway and a support adviser mentioned there is no record of my visit to the retailer. I replied back and mentioned I was definitely logged into my account at the time and I was successfully redirected to the retailer after clicking the button. I was using a laptop and not a mobile device. After being redirected to the retailer, I could see the URL had changed to include details of the redirect and a notification was displayed on my Quidco session to confirm I had been redirected successfully. My purchase was completed wholly online. I followed all instructions to ensure the cashback would track successfully. I have used Top Cashback for a number of years and have never had an issue or encountered a scenario where a purchase hasn't tracked. I'm disappointed that an issue has occurred after using Quidco.
I should also mention that I was redirected successfully to Direct Line where a new browser tab was opened (as normal). On Direct Line's home page, I entered my car registration into the car insurance text box and clicked the button to get a quote, where another browser tab was then opened for me to enter my details and purchase the policy. I suspect that because another tab was opened for me by Direct Line to enter my details and purchase the policy, this could be why the cashback hasn't tracked.0 -
I don't expect to get any support what so ever as Quidco it seems ignore their members but,
SKY - taking longer than expected.
Virgin media - taking longer than expected.
USwitch - taking longer than expected.
Quite a pattern there isn't there?
Just so you know Quidco or should i call you don'tpayco? Court papers are being sent this week to issue a claim against you for the sum of £110 which is the SKY cashback you are clearly messing me around with, i know i will win the court case too regardless of your "cashback is not guaranteed" statement as that won't hold up in court, the end of the day you yes you Quidco are promoting and offering a incentive for customers to sign up for a product, incentives must be honored this is the law i'm afraid.0 -

Hi @jamichi1
Thank you for your post here and I apologise that you have not had the best experience on this occasion.
Be assured that prior to contacting you we have already addressed this with the retailer as we have absolutely nothing to gain from declined cashback either, so we always seek for a more positive outcome. In this instance the retailer has informed us that your cashback was declined correctly.
I'm sorry to see the customer support agents did not provide a satisfactory response for you, and for the reiteration of the clearing of cookies. You can also ensure that your purchase is completed wholly in one sitting. We have some very useful tips here under 'Tips for making cashback work for you' http://www.quidco.com/help/all/
Do let us know if you have further questions and I'll be happy to assist.
Kind Regards,
Jack

Hi @jasonwatkins
Thank you for your post and I'm very sorry to see your cashback has been declined. Although I cannot go into detail regarding your account on a public forum, you have stated that the cashback has been paid to another referrer.
We always go back to the retailer to challenge this (as we have nothing to gain from your cashback being declined either) prior to contacting you. Their response has been that they have declined the cashback correctly and have paid it to another affiliate such as a search engine or comparison site.
Be assured the advice given was never intended to be condescending, but to ensure that this doesn't happen again, we hate it when our members miss out.
I apologise that the you have not had a positive experience on this occasion.
Kind Regards,
Jack

Hi @lloydyyy
Thanks for your post here and I'm sorry to hear you have had this problem.
In this instance it may be that you unknowingly have a second Quidco account and that you have clicked through from Quidco to Direct Line from this account.
However if you respond to the support team informing them that you certainly were logged into your account and that you clicked through from Quidco, we will then allow the function for a claim to be submitted. Of course at this stage if you have any problems raising the claim yourself just let the support team know and they will be happy to raise this claim on your behalf.
Once the claim has been raised your purchase will be manually tracking in your Activity instead of automatically and we'll let you know of any updates as we receive them.
Of course if you have any further questions do let me know.
Kind Regards,
Jack

If they are saying they have paid it to another affiliate then they are lying. It really is that simple. If they have paid it to another affiliate then who is it ?.
I've been using Quidco - and Topcashback - for long enough to know what i'm doing and to know how this works. Gambling sites are never straightforward with Quidco which is why I take so much care in making sure I complete the transaction according to the Terms and Conditions.
If i'm so terrible at using the site, how come I joined SSE Energy recently and that cashback tracked and paid out just fine ?.
That wasn't "paid to another affiliate".
I'm going to look at the legal route because it's the principle of the matter more than anything. I am completely confident that I carried out this transaction properly and met the terms and conditions to the letter and yet I get shafted because of some phantom nameless "affiliate" who is keeping my money.0
