    I've been Money Tipped!
I've gone back to quidco yesterday as I'm getting totally fed up with tcb!
1st purchase a non tracker though! Lets see how good you are at resolving non trackers. Claim in and I'll hang fire to se how quidco operate now before jumping in fully.
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.

i have a question about the premium account pn quidco

for some of their retailers they claim to get the cashback earlier than if you are a basic member.

is it the case that the inform the affiliate to pay out the cashback quicker or is it that they get the cashback earlier in any event but just hang on to it for a bit extra before paying out to a basic member ?

    Welcome back to Quidco, B_M.

I'm sorry to hear that your purchase hasn't tracked. Please don't worry, as a raising a claim is the correct thing to do to get your cashback on track.

why am i getting generic response from quidco about my cashback being declined and why dont you reply to my message within 24 hours which you state on your website you do

response from quidco re zipcar :We're sorry to see your claim was declined, as we share your disappointment when this happens.

However, the retailer has investigated fully for us and they have declined to pay cashback on this occasion.

We do have to take this as their final decision and we're sorry we can't take this any further for you.

i would like to know what investigations zipcar have done on this ?

    Hi Kill Bill,

I'm not going to bog you down with the detail as it's not really that interesting.

What we do however, is do our best to provide a service and meet expectations which include providing a free basic account for our members where 100% of your cashback is yours to keep.

Faster Paying retailer's feature lets us provide a service to our Premium members where they can receive their cashback quicker than our Basic account holders. In exchange for a £5 annual retention amount, the Premium member has faster paying retailers, faster response time from our support, a call back service, live chat and bespoke promotions and offers.

    Kind regards,

    Kim

  • I had Cashback declined with Riu hotels and Resorts. Same old story. The Cashback was worth £42. This is not the first time it has been declined.

    This is their message:

'We are writing to you about your cashback claim, as we have now had a response from the retailer.

Unfortunately, on this occasion your claim has been declined because the cashback from your sale will not be paid to us by the retailer. In order to pay us, they have to recognise us as having been the party who referred the sale to them, and in this case they do not.

Please be assured that we have looked into this for you further, prior to contacting you today, as we like to do everything we can to obtain payment for you. I understand that this is a disappointing outcome but, due to the nature of online cashback, we cannot always guarantee that you will be successful in receiving your cashback. If we do not receive payment from the retailer, we are unable to pass this on to you.

Declined claims benefit neither our customers nor Quidco, so we do share your disappointment.

    Kind regards,

    Quidco Support

Thanks and a shame the first purchase back failed to track.
I'm not having any issues with tracking via tcb or imutual tbh.
Lets see how quidco deal with claims before jumping in too deep with large insurances etc.
