    Hi Quidco Rep,

On Sunday (29th April) I purchased a 12 month 600mins & unlimited texts sim only contract (£13p/m) on Vodafone (£80 cashback) which hasn't tracked even though I have cleared cookies etc. My question is what is the likelihood of success from a manual claim as I have heard bad things about Vodafone cashback? If I put in a manual claim would I need to include the original number that came with the sim or the number that I will be porting over in the next few days?

As a side note, I have used Quidco for a few years now and have been very happy with it. But recently I have noticed that the tracking has been very hit and miss. I have not made any changes to my system and am aware of everything that can affect tracking so it would appear that the problem is at your end.

    Thanks.

I went via quidco app on iPhone to order Sky. This was done at 6.00am Monday 30th April. This still hasn't tracked will be annoyed if its declined as didn't track my insurance purchase either! Won't bother with quidco in future

ETA when I try to make a claim only gives me certain retailer options and sky isn't one of them! Then just advises that the purchase must be over 45 days old so can't even make a claim.

    Hi,
As a first time shopper, I used quidco for Tesco purchase on Apr 25th and got delivery of 26th. But so far I haven't got the eCoupon. Whom should I contact. This is what was mentioned in Quidco site.
"Use eCoupon code XXAFFT for 10 off your first online shop when you spend £50 or more. Then Tesco will email you another £10 eCoupon to use on your 2nd grocery shop"
    Thanks,
    Raj

    Hi guys,

probably a strange question but hope someone can answer it! I haven't used Quidco since 2009, went with another cashback company but have had a few problems with tracking lately and thought to log back into Quidco and start using it again! However I can't find an answer to this on the site:-

As I have been inactive for approximately 3 years if I start using Quidco again will I have to pay 3*£5 membership fees or just the £5?

    thanks.

    Warnie.

    Good afternoon,

@paul2louise – Unfortunately Sky have resolved a lot of claims but provided us with a lesser amount of cashback, which is either because a claim was raised for the wrong amount or they have sent the wrong amount to us. We are currently investigating this, in the mean time can you please raise a support ticket to allow us to check your claim, if you haven’t already.

@reddwarf2002 – Manual claims are just as likely to be confirmed as if it tracks in naturally, as the reasons that they can decline cashback are the same for if it tracks in or not (cashback can still be declined if it tracks in naturally). Claims do just take a little longer unfortunately.

Quidco don’t actually track your purchases so unfortunately tracking isn’t something we can advise too much on, although we do monitor all tracking programmes to ensure everything is as it should be.

@princessmaia – Sorry to hear that. Can you please raise a support ticket, by selecting ‘I am unable to raise a cashback claim’.

@raj75 – The £10 eCoupon will be coming directly from Tesco, so it may be worth contacting them directly regarding this.

@Warnie – Don’t worry, you don’t have to pay any administration fees for whilst you have been inactive. We only retain the £5 from cashback that you have earned, so if you haven’t earned anything, we won’t retain anything.

Have a great weekend and bank holiday everyone!

    Many thanks,

    Rosie

I am furious! Went through quidco app to order sky and via the support messages are stating that we never clicked through and nothing they can do! Can't even send a reply! Apparently my visit to sky is not even on the history! Funny that considering I did it a few times whilst deciding on packages! I clicked on the link I checked that when the page opened the quidco bit was in the address bar! What can I do now? Will definately not using from now on and will use another referrer

    Hi Rosie,
Thanks for the reply. However, you haven't advised as to which mobile number to include in the Vodafone manual tracking query. Here is the part on the missing cashback form:

"Please supply your Vodafone Order ID which will be in a number format of o180867539 and the mobile number for the product purchased in the format o180867539-07875544517"

Do I supply the original number that came with the sim or the number that I have ported over recently?

    Thanks in advance.
  • I've just had 2 Music Magpie claims declined (been waiting since January and both were declined on 1st May). Does anyone know if MM are known for this? The disclaimer says that Quidco payment will be declined if part of the payment is declined by MM but MM state that, should they refuse any discs, they won't tell you why and won't return the items that they refuse so it seems I was always on to a loser. I can't remember off hand how much they sent me as I received the cheques several months ago but the amounts on my Quidco account look to be the same amounts that I received cheques for. I have raised a claim via Quidco but I just wondered if this was par for the course as far as Music Magpie go.
January £5 per day £284.87/£155 February £10 per day £294.47

    Good afternoon,

I hope you've all had a good bank holiday weekend.

@princessmaia – I’m very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately if a click through has not been recorded there isn’t anything further we can do, as each visit you make to a retailer will produce a click through – if a click through is not showing we are physically not able to raise a claim. I am very sorry.

@reddwarf2002 – We’d recommend including the original phone number that you receive, although I think they can usually match up the claim with either number.

@house of cards – Music Magpie do sometimes do this, so please don’t worry at the moment. Are you able to confirm for me your Quidco UserID so I can check what the status is of your claims? If you don’t want to post on here can I ask you to email members@quidco.com and I’ll be happy to look into this in a little more detail for you.

@mum26 – Thank you for letting me know. I’ll let our Administration Team know so they can check to see if there is a pattern emerging.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie
