i would just like to add, your stats are incorrect.
you state "100% of payments received within 180 days". well, the 3 i refered to back in March are still showing "tracked" only".
these are now going back to Nov 2010. TCB were tracked AND paid within 8 weeks.
surely theres something you can do and you must know which 3 accounts i am refering to as it seems those 3 must be the only ones not paid?
im not normally a complainer but i feel it right to keep highlighting this.
guess what! still only tracked and quidco stats still state "100% of payments received within 180 days". Quidco used to be my 1st and only choice for cashback, now i dont bother at all even if they are the only option.0 -
I bought some items from Very through Quidco and my cashback would have been £85. This was in November 2009. At first they did not track, so I submitted a claim, which was acknowledged and finally tracked. Almost 2 years later, Quidco have now told me the claim was declined.
I don't know which annoys me more - the fact that it was declined after such a long time or that I was not even granted the courtesy of an explanation or reason. Another outstanding claim I have is for £50. No doubt I will eventually get a decline for that as well.
This is such a rip-off, and they have the cheek to charge people £5 per month. They seem to have no problem paying up the small amounts like 88p or £1.76. I was only hanging on to them until I get my £85! What a complete waste of time.
From reading other people's posts, it seems to be a regular occurrence for them. I'm not sure whether to chase them (they take a year and a day to respond to anything and the answers seem as though they have been pulled from a general list of responses) or Very, or simply report them to Trading Standards or some such organisation.0 -
Good morning,
@No1Joker – I’m sorry to hear this has confirmed at £0. Can I ask you to raise an incorrect cashback claim and we can certainly have a look into this for you. Please go to http://www.quidco.com/new-enquiry, and select your Vodafone transaction.
@pfpf – Please note that the current statistics show how long it has taken for all historic transactions to be paid, so it doesn’t reflect purchases that are still currently tracking. When your cashback does come through, the statistics will update to reflect this. I must also emphasise that the statistics are an estimate, they cannot be taken as a guarantee as unfortunately there are no guaranteed payment times in the industry at the moment.
@iwanttoberich – I’m really sorry to hear that your claim was declined after all this time, however please do be aware that Quidco do not decline or personally pay cashback on any purchases, the cashback and decline reason will always come from the merchant. However we can send off a cashback claim to find out why they have declined your cashback, and we can then investigate this further for you. To raise a declined cashback claim, please use the link above and select your affected Very purchase.
Kind regards,

Hi,
We're very sorry to tell you that your cashback has been declined by the retailer, as it has been paid to another referrer due to competing cookies on your browser at the time of your purchase.
We know how disappointing this is but you can reduce the risk of it happening with future purchases by following these simple steps:
(1) Make sure your computer & browser are configured properly
(2) Clear cookies & cache, disable pop-up, ad, & image-blockers.
(3) Log into Quidco and click on the merchant link on the Quidco site.
(4) Do not use voucher or other discount codes unless they came from the Quidco site.
(5) Do not use "refer a friend" programs or promotional links from other sites.
(6) Complete your purchase online, all in one session.
(7) Do not use a saved quote from a comparison site.
(8) Do not search other sites whilst completing a transaction on Quidco.
We're afraid that once cashback has been declined due to competing cookies, we have to accept the decision and we're unable to help further.
Kind Regards,
QuidCare
what does it mean by paid to another referrer? i dont see how as i did all the steps 1-8. I cleared all cookies before logging into quidco and then i logged in and clicked on the link to take me straight to swiftcover. i then went ahead and put in my details for a new quote and then purchased online. i really dont see how it could have gone wrong:j0 -
Hi Quidco Rep
I am STILL waiting on cashback from LV. I have been waiting since November. I am also starting to get concerned that the More Than and Sainsburys cashback is taking a while to come back. They all show as tracked. Is it just me or does it seem that the big amounts are not coming through? I am still getting pennies here and there but none of the £30/50 amounts.
My Quidco login is gespo2002.
Thanks0 -
Yes, I too have noticed the big amounts tend to appear last.....mmmmm....UK Consumers: The Gift That Keeps On Giving......0

This is their response to me about 'paid to another referrer':
"I am afraid that on this occasion that referral fee has been paid to someone other than Quidco."
This is absolutely useless and unhelpful. To me, it seems they only pay out the piddly amounts to keep the masses happy. Well, I will happily tell everyone what a rotten service they offer.0 -

@scotty1875 – Our admin team did investigate this further for you and they have confirmed that you did receive the correct amount of cashback. As you clicked the More Th>n Premium Insurance cashback link and only purchased Car Insurance, you were given the correct amount of cashback for a Car Insurance purchase which was £25. As you actually clicked through the Premium Insurance link and purchased something other than Premium Insurance, it is very lucky that any cashback was awarded on this occasion, as usually if you click through to a merchant and purchase something other than what you have clicked through to, the cashback will typically be declined.
In regards to the quote reference, the Quidco page would not have shown this as the quote reference isn’t generated until after you have clicked through to the merchant site and started the quote.
Kind regards,
Rosie
Thanks for your reply Rosie.
The explanation you have given was all I really wanted from the outset - a direct response to the points I raised and an explanation with regards to my query about the quote reference no. being present on the Quidco webpage, which was the only reason for me continuing to believe there had been a problem with the weblink to the insurer's webpage.
If only I had received a reply like yours back in Feb or in response to the numerous follow up tickets during June/July, in which I laboured this point repeatedly, it would avoided all the hassle and frustration.
Thanks again

I think this was inevitable given that there has been no payout on clicks since December. If they've pulled the merchant for not paying out and to stop us wasting time clicking through then fair enough, but it doesn't bode well for the outstanding cash does it?
I know its a free click, but coupled with the loss of WhichBudget and Fly.com going weekly, my £5 admin fee is rapidly coming out of my pocket which makes me wonder whether I should jump ship?0
