  • OP, well done on helping Alice complete her bucket list.

I hope you have a wonderful time Alice and that your days are filled with as much excitment as you can fit in. I am sure I speak for all of us when I say we will be thinking of you at this happy, but also very sad time. You are such a brave young girl and this puts my problems into perspective. x

Thanks, but all I did was send an email and take a quick phone call.

Alice's sister is doing Race For Life this weekend. Couple of days ago she had raised 200.00 and it was at 13,000.00 this morning and over 22,000.00 now. How amazing is that?!?!

Everytime I read something about them I get teary, she really is such a brave girl, and so is her sister (well her whole family). Her sister has health problems too. It's not nice to talk about her being gone whilst she is still here, but what an amazing legacy to leave behind. How proud everyone will be of her. x

well done though OP for promoting it.

if anyone is interested, their Mum has a blog too, and I think she could do with some support too. :)

Junior signed up to become a bone marrow donor last night - I think it took him 10 minutes to do online - and is actively encouraging all his mates to do the same.

Am so pleased that Alice will get to complete her bucket list but so sad that she has had to create one, at such a young age.

What a fantastic young lady, life is so so unfair at times

Have e-mailed Port Lymphe safari park to see if they can help as they do an overnight safari stay........ probably the closest to a safari you will get in the UK

May be completely off Alice's radar but what about getting Sir David Attenborough to take Alice through what ever sort of safari can be arranged?

  • Hi to all on here
I just wanted to say an enormous thank you for all the lovely, heartfelt messages on here and the obvious desire you all have to fulfil Alice's dreams. We were so touched to read the responses and I hope that in posting this, someone will receive a notification and be able to pass our thanks on.
The bone marrow registers continue to rise and Alice's wish is that we continue in promoting the many worldwide registers.
Alice continues to fight, she's no pushover - every day we share is a special one.

I will be signing up to be a bone marrow doner tomorrow- I am terrified of needles but that should be overcome by the fact that it might save somebodies life. Good luck to you and your family, lots and lots of love xxx
