So Mr Sobell must have been issuing this claim whilst he was NOT appearing in Birmingham?0

I received a County Court Summons in the post this morning. Has anyone else had this happen? Can't find a post by anyone about this.
I've read the advice, but everyone seems so confident that this doesn't happen I'm not sure about following any more " advice".
Too quick, troll. :rotfl:
Do your homework about real timescales next time and don't put ''advice'' in inverted commas - it gives the game away.
I did wonder when you called yourself 'Rabbit' and referred to 'Roger' White - after the film 'Who framed...?'
Are you Perky or Hasbeen? I say you are the latter because you have no imagination and you were 'firebird20' before - can you not think of a username that doesn't follow the 'lower case initial letter, animal noun followed by two numbers' rule? Bet you are not keen about the emails that some of us have sent this week to the Scrutiny Committee re the Freedoms Bill.
For the benefit of any newbies on here I say this poster 'rabbit65' seems to be Peter Haswell of UKCPS (Disabled-Motorist-Harassers).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

These trolling posts all follow the same script. They say they wished they had paid up instead following the advice on various forums. And they never come back with a follow-up posting. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

9 and 1/2hrs later and you haven't come back with any (easily verifiable) evidence.I received a County Court Summons in the post this morning. Has anyone else had this happen? Can't find a post by anyone about this.

you're a liar, rabbit; I'm sure of it. law-abiding joe public would be beside himself if he rec'd a summons; he'd be sitting nxt to his PC.
nxt time you feel like trolling: go to youtube and punch in 'secret army'; a late 70's tv series set in brussels during WW2 and centred on a covert organisation dedicated to returning downed RAF men to britain. the members of this organisation made a fine art of lying, cheating, deceiving and generally f***ing up nazi intelligence.
sharpen up your trolling by taking a dabble, because -right now -you're fooling no-one.

To all posting with such certainty that rabbit65 is a "troll" I can assure you that he/she is not.
I am in a position to say this because I work for Valid Parking, the company that issued the County Court Summons. While I cannot comment or post information about that particular case as it is still in process I am able to post the following court reference number which is our latest case.
The claim number was! 1XV00362 and was issued throught the County Court Bulk Centre, Northampton. As the claim was paid it was not transferred to a local court.
No doubt someone will post something to the affect that this case isn't relevant because it didn't reach court and that PPCs don't go down the legal route because they know they won't win. However, the fact is that we do issue against motorists and we do so because we are confident enough that we will win. While this latest case decided to settle before reaching court it does not negate the fact that we are prepared to go down this route. I should also add that the motorist was not a multiple unauthorised parker, but a one off which we had standard evidence against.
If there are any motorists reading this and other sites for advice please think carefully before ignoring early opportunities to settle. We genuinely do not wish people to end up with a CCJ on their credit histories.0 -
What your company did was frighten that person into settling the case before it went to court. That's how PPCs operate. It's all scare tactics because you know people will cave in. How many people have actually gone through the full court process and lost? Could you give us some examples. And if you did win what were the judges reasons?
By the way, you should know that you only get a CCJ if you refuse to pay whatever the judge orders within 28 days. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
A PPC has come out of the woodwork, I hope you have got permission from the forum staff to post on behalf of your company.0

You said it!
This wasn't even a win. All you came here to post was 'look, some idiot paid us'!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Very interesting for a first post, I think that PPC's companies must be worried now, to still keep posting.
