I have said it before, Steve Dargonne is a [STRIKE]w[/STRIKE] Banker. He used to work for a Midland Bank branch in Worthing if it's the same guy and wouldn't have the first clue about law. Some might say he never had much of a clue about Banking either, having moved into the darker side of debt collection.

A former colleague of yours? Did you go for drinks at the local wine bar on Fridays after your respective banks closed? ***No customers or subordinates, just us managers***! ;):D :rotfl:

Could be...but he would not remember me as at the time I was just one of many Bank clerks - just one he would not recall, he only knew the ones he was sleeping with!

I remember him though, he was harmless enough at the time but a bit dull and a bit dim IMHO.

Love to know what he did after leaving the Bank...HO87 can you give me a clue??!

You would be well advised to make prompt payment and avoid the inevitable debt recovery procedures.

Payment is a mark of respect to the rights of the landowner.

So why do the PPC get the bulk of any charge? Please don't use the word respect it doesn't fit with your business practice!
  • Just out of interest, how much do Roxburgh purchase the "so called" debt for? (Obviously only Roxburgh know this) But is it pounds? £50? and they just play the odds game that one payment of £200 covers 4 purchased debts (if £50 was the amount)?
Its just interesting to think that there is a transaction between Valid Parking and Roxburgh for something that does not exist. Or are they all in cahoots with each other?

Is it removed if you report it as spam? I've been reporting him every time I come across him. Don't know why but I can imagine him saying the words in the same voice as my satnav . . .

Hi, I went for a facial today and parked on the Stockport Gymophobics car park (the beauty place is through the same entrance as Gymphobics). I left my car there after the treatment to go for a very delish meal down the road in the Arden Arms. Gymophobics closes at 2pm which by pure coincidence is the exact same time I landed the ticket.

I had heard the advice to ignore before but when it's me with the ticket and threat of the charge going from £70 to £150 I suddenly started to lose my bottle somewhat.

Anyway, this thread offers some reassurance, but if the OP has anything further to add re their experience with this company so I can know what to expect, then I would appreciate hearing it.

    Thanks

Same as them all they will send you letters then begging letters just ignore them and your fee will be reduced to £0.

However edit your post you have too much info regarding your incident. The PPC's lurk here gaining info never give them anything that can ID your case.

Still wont go anywhere but it encourages them!;)
  • Hi
I have been reading lots of the posts about parking fines from Valid Parking because I got a ticket on my car when I left it in a snooker club car park. I've ignored all the letters but now I've had one that from Roger White solicitors that they are going to take me to court unless I pay the fine.

Has anyone actually gone to court? What should I do as I really don't want to have go to court and I'm worried about all the costs if I lose.

What's the best way to deal with this?
