You guys have been a real help.
I think I will keep all my letters (If I receive any) in my memories box so I can giggle at it in a few years time.
Also Porkies is a sandwich bar and not some sordid place :rotfl:
That is reserved for the Rifle Volunteer lol.

Ill keep checking back with updates.
All of your knowledge has been invaluable.

    Kind regards

    Lars
  • I would sue them for harassment personally!
  • Hi,
Thought I would share my second letter with you all. They have changed tact now. They have some mumbo-jumbo at the bottom saying that all the info on here is anecdotal and to refer to Civil Procedure Rules Part 31.
I cannot see what this even remotely refers to.

Im sticking to my guns and ignoring. I have also read that the phone calls will start soon....has anybody else experienced this? I will just block their number :)

Ah, another of Roxburghe's finest - Mr Dargonne again.

It really is about time that Steve does an evening class in "Introduction to Civil Law". He'd then learn that Civil Procedure Rules Pt 31 does not apply to cases in the small claims track at the County Court which is the only place any case he is ever likely to pursue will go.

Putting it in simple terms - Its nowt but a try on. Ignore it.

PS - Roxburghe's are currently being investigated by the Office of Fair Trading and been warned that their debt collection licence may be revoked.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

The man is really a total moron...

    1) Part 31 applies to disclosure of DOCUMENTS ...any private keepers keeping a log of who drives their car and when..nope didn't think so.

    2) 31.1 Tells us that part 31 does not apply to small claims ...I think most people could figure out that a parking charge of £80 is SMALL.

    3) he urges us to get legal advice ..well any legal advisor who knows anything about civil claims will be telling us that 1) and 2) above apply !!!

AND while we are at it if Roxburghe are so aware of the advice on the internet then they can't possibly be unaware that CPR 31 does not apply to their claims ..that makes their letter at best incompetent but IMO it is deliberately deceptive and fraudulent.

Come on OFT the evidence is overwhelming time to revoke these cowboys licence !!
  • You guys always make me feel better lol.

I have said it before, Steve Dargonne is a [STRIKE]w[/STRIKE] Banker. He used to work for a Midland Bank branch in Worthing if it's the same guy and wouldn't have the first clue about law. Some might say he never had much of a clue about Banking either, having moved into the darker side of debt collection.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I believe that you are correct. It would seem that he has done a number things between leaving the bank and arriving at Roxburghe's door. One of them at least did not involve banking or debt collecting.
