yes i thought that would be easy to do,

nope Ticketline emailed everyone to say that any delivery address changes needed to be made by 25th February and they can't change delivery address after that.....so even if I had called them as soon as I moved it wouldnt had made a difference..

I found the quote below on another forum (might need checking).

How long til the concert? I'd write to the landlord reminding him that it's a criminal offence to delay mail and give him a few days to forward all your mail. Threaten him with the rozzers. It's a crime after all (although they'd probably not be that interested, tbh).

lol,the landlord has no responsibility to forward mail
delay of mail relates to the delivery of mail.
    its been delivered as addressed
    job done
the landlord could just bin the ltters, return them to sender or whatever

i presumed the tickets would go to my parents as I get all important mail to go there..but as I live in Manchester and the concert is up here I ordered to tickets to arrive here...(and forgot this until recently!)

Outpost - I dont see why its obvious that ticketline cant reprint tickets....if all tickets have a barcode why cant they cancel them and just reissue new ones? Lots of companies do this...

As for the payslips, the fact that I will have recieved at elast 2 payslips now and now recieved any from the landlord suggests that he IS keeping mail/not bothering to forward on.

why should he? who do you think is paying for your mail while its forwarded?
you are crying here over a situation you could have stopped simply by paying for a redirection
instead you expect the Landlord and RM to do it for free for you

I wouldn't be asking him to forward it on, I'd be asking him to meet me to collect it. If he goes away there'll be no way of getting the tickets before Friday, so ring him now and be polite but firm.

The OP could be firm, but it might not be convenient for the landlord to come out and meet her, and they are under no obligation of any kind to do so.

Ultimately the OP may have to stomach the loss and accept it was their error.

however I think that it's really bad customer service that Ticketline won't reissue tickets for Standing but they will for Seated tickets...whats the difference?

The difference is that if somebody wanted extra tickets they could just claim they had not received them, and as they are standing tickets nobody would ever find out about the fraud. With seated tickets as only one person can sit in a seat, a duplicate ticket would be pointless.

...Aye right... the OP has screwed up....they should not be firm...they should beg and offer to pay all reasonable costs in order to get the tix.

BTW do we have any proof the tix have been delivered?
