Apparently 'I didn't pay enough postage'

What happens when ebay review the case and see the message from the buyer mentioning the underpaid postage that they paid when collecting the parcel. Two wrongs dont make a right!
I have never been able to get ebay/paypal to read a message or feedback. I don't think they ever do.
2 cases:-
one an ebay message threatening bad feedback if i did not lower price AFTER sale - ebay uninterested and told me to resolve with buyer.
2nd - buyer leave pos feedback saying very happy with item. Later files claim for item not received. Ebay/paypal refund buyer.
Many, many more where a quick flick through ebay messages would resolve a dispute - but ebay are not interested - or maybe feel its not allowed for data protection reasons.0 -

As it stands everything is nicely in OP's favour.
No mention it was tracked, but you have still missed the point - buyer says they need the item quickly - so as no intention of refusing or returning item.
This was just to get em moving today - while office is closed. I assume OP is picking it up tomorrow, if as not already.
No refund = neg feedback and low DSR's. And this from somone who believes negs are a very last resort.0 -

Ahh missed that bit. I'm a rather stubborn sort myself so I'd do without and teach them a lesson personally lol0 -

I'm the opposite - but i'm with you on this one. There is no excuse for what seller is doing.0 -
I really want the item so I will be collecting ... And paying £1.12. I think I will opt for amix of the feedback suggestions and a neg if they don't refund the money when I let them know I have "officially" collected it.If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0

The card doesn't say recorded so I think it's normal post.If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -
Thought there was a £1 charge for insufficient postage. So in reality the seller only underpaid postage by 12p. So as the buyer really wants the item it is costing them an extra £1 for the shortfall rather than the actual 12p missing postage.
This £1 extra is clearly the fault of the seller.Truth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0 -
I would Neutral and put 'Customer Relations training needed'.
but I would still leave honest DSRs. 1 for Postage and Packaging.0 -
I would neg, you've given the seller opportunity to put things right.
They've said that they aren't interested. There are enough sellers on ebay without crap ones like this.0 -

no the £1.12 is the sellers fault
it doesnt matter how it breaks down
mistakes happen
its how they are dealt with that matter0
