So to clarify, the phone is faulty and the manager in P4u said he will replace it with a new handset but still the same make and model?
Surely if this new one works then thats fine?

So how long have you had this faulty BB? Reading your first post suggests that you have only had it a month or so, is that right? And this BB was a replacement of a different brand of mobile that also developed a fault?
Here to learn and pass on my experiences.
Had a total of £8200 of debt written off due to harassment during 2010 and 2012.
  • the BB i have had it 3 weeks and the BB i had before was a blackberry pearl

So are they going to swap it for another 9780 for you?

So you had a Pearl, that became faulty? Phones4U informed you they were upgrading your phone to the Bold? 3 weeks later this Bold is now faulty? And they are now offering a replacement Bold?

The fact you have had the Bold for only 3 weeks may be in your favour, i.e you expect a BB to last longer than 3 weeks, plus you have had it under 6 months which makes Phones4U liable. If this is a route available to you then you can get all options available, repair, replacement or refund. However you are best to seek professional advice to clarify this.

Also, when you were offered the Bold, did you say you did not want it?Indeed did they tell you why you could not have a replacement Pearl? If you accepted the upgrade to the Bold, then they can rightly offer you a replacement Bold, as it's the same phone. However this is not taking into account my previous paragraph, as this point may be your only saving grace.

I think that if you get offered another new Bold which another poster correctly said was an upgrade from the Pearl then you have a result providing it works!
You haven't unfortunately made it very clear what you actually want to happen? Is it a complete different phone you want?

Try going to connections. Then 'Turn all connections off'. Wait until they have all shut down then 'Turn all connections on'. See if that helps?
For some reason my Blackberry goes to SOS only when I put it in my locker at work. I have no idea why it does this but turning the connections on and off is the only way to solve it. It doesn't happen at any other time, or in any other lockers (eg at swimming).
  • the bold i have now is faulty and yesterday they offered me the same replacement phone i dont want another phone from them and i am having problems with receiving a signal and phones 4 u know that i dont want another phone from them but they arent listening to me
