None available on the dates I want (again!). Looks like I'll just be going with the best Quidco when it comes time to book (again!).

I added the nights individually as though they are two seperate bookings. Will I have to check out and check in again or will Travelodge be reasonable enough to let us stay in the same room? Do I need to contact them or is this how you're meant to do it for these sales? Other people in the thread seem to have booked multi night stays, so if anyone could advise, I'd appreciate it.

Normally you will be allocated the same room throughout your stay - no need to check out and in again. You can only book the sale rooms one night at a time, so the staff are used to this situation. Have a great time.

    hi miss milly,
this hotel is right around the corner from us and my mum stays here loads when she visits us, its a lovely little hotel and the pub next door is very friendly with a fab cheap carvery all day. you will love it!

ps. still can't get on travelodge website to book any £10 rooms though, will have to give up and go to work

Thanks for that flossyann, we haven't stayed there before so it's really good to know.

Good luck with your search and booking, try later they sometimes add more later in the day.

Managed to book some cheap rooms in London for August Bank Holiday weekend at about 5:50am. However, I wonder if anyone who's booked these sale rooms before could answer a question.

When I searched for sale rooms, it quoted £15 for the 28th and £19.50 for the 29th. If I tried to book them both together as a two night stay, it was quoting £29 per night (the price it was showing last night before the sale began) so I added the nights individually as though they are two seperate bookings. Will I have to check out and check in again or will Travelodge be reasonable enough to let us stay in the same room? Do I need to contact them or is this how you're meant to do it for these sales? Ideally I wanted a family room but as there were none available in any convenient location at sale prices, I booked two doubles. Still a bargain - £69 for 2 rooms for 2 nights in London on a Bank Holiday weekend!

Usually they are quite reasonable about it, but i suppose it depends on the person. When we were in Ireland, I had to visit the desk on a couple of occassions to "check-in" again, even though i stayed in the same room....the only time you may have to change rooms is if youve booked a mixture of family and double rooms, and one or the other is fullly booked on the night in question......

As for the price increase, yes that is often the case, if theres 5 x £10 rooms and a £39(for example) it usually comes out at 6 @ £39, but usually ok if you book the cheapies either side of the £39 first, altho ive had cheapies come up more expensive in a group, and had to book them either singley or in two's.

Its nice to see people getting London bookings, I can remember getting 10 nights in Docklands Travelodge for £70, normal price was more than that a night!..After getting a cheap tube card, we saw all we wanted to see....forever, possibly.

I thought that, but I booked 4 consecutive nights on the same booking earlier. 1 payment of £40 rather than 4 x £10

Thanks for the replies. I'll see how it goes but seems like I should be ok. The rooms I've booked are of the same type - 2 doubles for each night.

In my experience you can ADD 1 night at a time to your basket, then pay for all your nights in one transaction.

However as the site is clogged, you may add a night to your basket go searching for another, then go to pay to find your first night has been nabbed by someone else.

We only ever get confirmations for ''1 person'' however we are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids and check in that way ask, for extra bedding and never have a problem (as we normally book family rooms), if we have 2 separate nights in the same hotel we just mention it on check in and they already know and we stay in the same room.

In fact i like loads of pillows so I always ask for extras anyway.
