Got 6 nights at Covent Garden, London in mid August for £90. Booked at 3am this morning.0

Booked my two rooms last night, after waking up at 2am to find there were no rooms at £10 yet I checked again on my phone at 2.15am and noticed people on here stating that a couple of £10 rooms had appeared.
Anyway I quickly got my netbook and managed to easily find two rooms that I wanted! So thanks to those posters that posted in the first place
Im trying to get on the site now just out of interest to see whats left but it keeps loosing connection exactly as it was last year at this time. Anyway I have learnt that I should always get up at 2am on all Travelodge sales now as it is soo much easier and there is so much more choice0 -
re miss milly, castle bromwich travelodge
hi miss milly,
this hotel is right around the corner from us and my mum stays here loads when she visits us, its a lovely little hotel and the pub next door is very friendly with a fab cheap carvery all day. you will love it!
ps. still can't get on travelodge website to book any £10 rooms though, will have to give up and go to work0 -
does'nt matter, normally a double bed anyway
Have you EVER come accross a single room in a Travelodge..I remember once, years ago, being stuck in a very small room, with only a shower(no bath), but it did have a double bed...I wonder if some of these "new acquisition" hotels have hsingle rooms.....
Anyone???Couponing....."every little hurts"

Is there not a mobile link available.

This happens to me everytime I book - but with a Mastercard debit, error message comes up as you say - last time I e mailed customer services about it they told me to check with my card issuer who said there was no problem. Then they said I had to report at the time it was happening - Yeah Right, by the time you get through the room has gone.... Definately a scam - thought it was just me.
I think this happened to me once, but since I registered my card on their website, Ive had no bother...Couponing....."every little hurts"

I have had a lot of booking for 1 person and 2 of us stayed. You will have no trouble with 2 people staying in the room. You cannot change it without loosing the room/paying more money. I would keep it as it is.
Does the "amend booking" on your "My Travelodge" page not allow you to do this, albeit they will charge you around £10 for the amendment, but as you say...Ive never been questioned on the number of people staying, unless Ive been unhappy with the room, and request a move, but thats usually a case of extra bedding needed, altho some double rooms dont have a pull out bed, (needed if theres more than 2 of you...)Couponing....."every little hurts"

Managed to book some cheap rooms in London for August Bank Holiday weekend at about 5:50am. However, I wonder if anyone who's booked these sale rooms before could answer a question.
When I searched for sale rooms, it quoted £15 for the 28th and £19.50 for the 29th. If I tried to book them both together as a two night stay, it was quoting £29 per night (the price it was showing last night before the sale began) so I added the nights individually as though they are two seperate bookings. Will I have to check out and check in again or will Travelodge be reasonable enough to let us stay in the same room? Do I need to contact them or is this how you're meant to do it for these sales? Other people in the thread seem to have booked multi night stays, so if anyone could advise, I'd appreciate it.
Ideally I wanted a family room but as there were none available in any convenient location at sale prices, I booked two doubles. Still a bargain - £69 for 2 rooms for 2 nights in London on a Bank Holiday weekend!0 -
pah - no website for me :-(I have a new claim to fame
I spoke about the Olympics ticket fiasco on Martin's daybreak slot :money:
