got on to travelodge just befor 6 this morning rooms at £25.50 same price i was quoted few days ago!!!!! NOT £10 !!!!!!!

then site crashed after 45 mins of refrsshing loading new page finally got on to main page put details and CRASHED!!!!!

finally got a page to open throught google chrome!!!! got booking up at 25.50 per night then few mins later went up to £29. unbelieveable what was the point of doing a deal for all 473 travelodge hotels if not all 473 hotels did the offer!!!.

tried to ring the number as require disabled room and customer services closed due to staff training. what does that say really.

well done to all those that got £10 rooms.

off to get some zzzzzz as only had 4 hours sleep xx:(:(:(

It never says it will reduce every room, a few of us found £10 rooms around 2am, although, not as many as usual....I didnt book any this time, although i was only trying to extend the weeks I already have from the last sale.

The site crashes every sale at around 5.55am, but with a bit of luck you can get on later in the day....Theres much more choice usually in winter sales, where in the past its been quite easy to book weeks at a time, altho more people know about the 2am start, I'm sure it will never be easy again, all good things come to an end.

For the last five years Ive had maybe 8 full weeks a year away at the sale price(used to be £7), including 17 days in Ireland at 8 euro a night, except for 3 nights where i had to pay more...(total 180 euros)

Will come back later to try for some 2 day (visit friends) adventures...
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

I have had a lot of booking for 1 person and 2 of us stayed. You will have no trouble with 2 people staying in the room. You cannot change it without loosing the room/paying more money. I would keep it as it is.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Just booked one of the rooms I wanted for £19.50, which is great... However, I used a Visa Debit card, which is supposed to be free of charge. There's no question it's a debit card - It says 'Debit' on the front of it in big letters. But the Travelodge website popped up an error message : "This is not a valid Visa Debit Card number". I tried it again, selecting the regular 'Visa' option (for which it charges a £2 processing fee). Accepted.

So, they happily accept the card, but 'mistakenly' only when they can cream off an extra £2 charge? I'm intrigued to know how legal that is, because it looks like a scam to me!

I just booked a £10 room in Castle Bromwich for next week, going to see Peter Kay, and my debit card went through OK, with no fee.

I eventually got in with IE9, tried Chrome and Firefox too.......
