hope you've having a great time with your visitors.
maty yay to rescued plants, the ones in my garden have to be hardy as i'm not the best at planting things straight away

one of my surpising things in the garden is that my nectarine tree has grown peaches lol ok i suspect i must have bought a peach tree instead of a nectarine but i'm amazed that they've actually grown and that they look like proper peaches, they need to ripen a bit which isnt' surprising as we've not had that much sun/heat of late but i'm just amazed. And there's quite a few on the tree as well.

Are you sure it's not mouldy nectarines :D

Hi there Pippi and all! :hello:

Just popped in to say I'm still reading, sounds like an exhausting summer to me! And where were all those photos from?!?

Have fun with visitors, and I hope the weather picks up! I would like it to chuck it down here so I can nab some farmers for interviews! However, it is just not raining, so they are all out combining like mad... (insert RESEARCH STRESS smiley here).

Lottie sorry you've research stress, bah to farmers combining -hope they get it done, talk to you and then get out again!

Btw What photos? Weathers a bit mixed lottie, but finally a couple of warmer days (well 15 degrees!)

Maty yay to plants keiss is indeed here and lovely it is too :) we went to a lovely garden here too :) I've been working (mostly paid) a lot but they've been off having adventures :)

Lt ~ you make me giggle, fur coats cos of the weather!!!!! Looks like the p,ace you got your nectarine mislabelled it! At least it's happy, how's the rest of the garden?

Kc yup it blew off, it was a solid gate, I think he thought that would be better. But both keiss and I said, if it had been slatted (lets wind through) it might not have fallen off! Wind is indeed very pesky here :(

Waves doon sooth to everyone :)

Busy week really, which is great :) - bit tired, another 4-5 hours weeding gravel yesterday (paid) out of practice and lazy me!

Today, hoping for an adventure even a peedie one with K and co :) which might include a nice walk
Working from 2 (unpaid, but forging links with garden guy :))
Might attempt more elderflower cordial, soon the flowers will be gone.......I've made a bit, but keep drinking it, or giving it away!
Need sort out a few plants for K
Washing to do and might get it out :)
Need pack a weekend adventure bag - a la cheery - meeting mr flowers for a bit of a highland driving/camping adventure on saturday :) avec le mutt
Must pay rent, need check banks

    First though, brekkie!!

Hope you are all fine and dandy.

Did a blog about garden here, but only took a few pics of the monster weeds!!

Have fun today :) must fill up the bird feeder, we've a greenfinch who thinks he's king of my garden, it's hilarious watching him defend the peanuts, he must be exhausted!! Between the birds and the rabbits, we are almost a wild life sanctuary, well until the dog chases everything!

Ps seemingly we had one funky special bright evening clouds here the other night, I won't spell it right but sounded like noctaluciant clouds.........which are apparently special - I missed them (doh) but will see the pictures :)

lol to your greenfinch Pippi. We filled up our birdfeeder with mealworms. The birds went mad for them! We had to top it up 3 times.

Glad you are having a lovely time with visitors and managing both paid and unpaid work too. Will the driving adventure be in the new car of is peedie not allowed in that?
Love the sound of your elderflower cordial. Not sure what went wrong with mine!
