Would love to be a fly on the wall at your house Cheery, sounds v. funny. That reminds me, DD often plays at being a puppy and we have a little song to go with it :)

Feeling very pleased that I managed okay without my purse, but think I may need to take it out with me tomorrow. Need to pay the childminder for last month and will need to get DD some new trainers this week, eek!

    Evening all!

Love the impressions of Peedie..., thanks Cheery!:rotfl:

Glad you've had a lovely bulb-planting day Pippi...despite the rotten weather. Good news about the flowers, special occasion flowers could be another branch of your flowery enterprise. Love the idea of plants and seeds as wedding presents.

I have given various plants as wedding presents over the years: Holly bushes (requested...honest!); roses (traditional) and Auriculas (green fingered bride). All raised an eyebrow or two, but were appreciated by the couples involved.

One of our best wedding presents was a fork and spade, brought in with bows on, during the reception...wonderfull! The fork only broke last year and the spade is still going strong...pretty good for 28 years (this week actually  !!).

Managed to pot up 136 viola plants this morning...should have been 150, but I was rather slow in getting them potted up, pretty pleased I only lost 14 though :).

Had a frustrating afternoon, went in to invigilate, but no students turned up!! So was paid for 2.5 hours to sit and wait for them, thank goodness I took my knitting!!

Going to have a look at more cars tomorrow...have decided not to go for a Pippi car look-alike, but considering one by the same maker. There's so many different cars to choose from, it's very confusing!

Oops battery running low, must go!

    Hey up

Keiss glad you had a busy day (if a little frustrating) happy anniversary, LT you'll get there one day. KK - eek to trainers.

The weather is utterly revolting - even by my standards I don't want to go out in that - Cheery remember the abortive ferry trip - no ferries on today here. Its serious side ways rain with a lovely yummy gale thrown in. Nice. Where is my sowester?

Bank to do then onwards into the squall. Not sure this is worth no robbers.

Banks OK - well £30 in one (which needs more in for the bt dd in a couple days) and £15 in the other - not skint that yet then eh?

Tea from stores last night - cauli cheese with left over tatties (dd made her first cheese sauce which was lovely well done her)

    Todays meals
Brekkie from cupboards - cereal and fruit
Lunch - will take a frozen dinner for one from the freezer or a cup a soup - in town today
Tea - something warm and cosy

    Have a good one!

lovely attitude - although eek to more pesky ferry-stopping weather. Bit grey and non-descript here in York today. Need tea :D

morning all, bit worried as the latest EU court ruling on football matches being shown in pubs may affect my job. :( Last thing I need at the moment with OH not working.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

Just catching up on about 5 pages

There seem to be a few people about with broken bits or awaiting surgery. Sending healing hugs :)

Glad you have a partner for the PT Venture :D And loving the sound of plants, seeds and trees for wedding presents :T I think that is very you and Mr Flowers is happy when you are happy.

Thank goodness Mr F spotted your handbag before he got off the island.

:j:T:j To the blog award :j:T:j Will catch up over there later.

Only you could get BOGOF cats! I assume one of yours has had kittens :) Will they all continue to live in the barn?

My paper gave away free beetroot seeds and as I am green finger challenged they were passed on to my sister. Despite lots of TLC she got enough to make half a jar of some sort of special pickled ones for Christmas. They were tiiiiiiiny!

Left work on Friday (very emotional day) and feel a bit odd this week. Not sure if I think I am on holiday!

Spent yesterday (unsuccessfully) shopping for a Car Crate and stair gates to keep puppy safe so these will have to be re-visited later in the week - did ask on free cycle too, but no joy. Right, off to continue de-cluttering and puppy proofing!

And if anyone can remind me how I do a linky to photo's I have a couple of shots of Rodders :D
