That makes me think of that Honda advert, "hate something, change something, make something better" - all the bunny rabbits were running from the nasty diesel, or wearing ear muffs, or shooting arrows at it, and when the new quiet one came in, a rainbow appeared. It was a great advert! I actually downloaded it, never done that before

I'll climb back in my tree now

Honda do make good adverts usually don't they

Cute as a button that puppy - and of course Peedie is too, I like dogs but not the thought of walking in bad weather or scooping, so happy to cuddle other people's instead!
Oh dear, spent again.....went in to get a lottery ticket (oops!), and couldn't resist 20p chillis, now in freezer, 30p parsnips, 30p carrots and broccoli and 65p yummy bread rolls.
Tomorrow, the purse is staying at home!! I have about £200 left for the month to cover everything....But in good news, I got to have some lovely cuddles with OH this afternoon, nattering and snuggling on the sofa and making plans for the weekend

Yay for lovely cuddles KK :j :j
And yay for pesky small dogs
Pippi, stop sausaging girl, I bet you're a FAB teacher! You worrying bout it is a sign of wanting to make sure you do it properly - and fretting a little bit (but not lots!) will make sure you do the preparation, and will mean that your class wll be marvellous! :T :T :T If I was there I'd be taking it

Great teaching advice on here Pippi, not that I'm a teacher but I help out with various child-related things and I feel more confident in my abilities the more I do, I had sleepless nights before leading my first session - and that was infront of a bunch of 5-7 year olds!

Good luck Pippi, hope it'll speed up! I'm feeling great as I've realised that I had double-accounted for my credit card, so "found" an extra £60 for the month, yippee

I have my purse with me but will only be adding to it today as I won a whopping £5.70 on the Euromillions!!
Update: oops, forgot it's OH's son's birthday at the weekend so have sent him a card and present and will shortly be buying something on Ebay that finishes in a little while! I am rubbish aren't I?!? But then they are both paid on Paypal, so not directly from my purse.....

Sorry to hear about the slow t'internet connection Pippi, hope you can get things done despite it.

Well done on your win and other money-accruing adventures KK :T
Not going anywhere today and not spending on-line either. Been busy baking this morning (4 fruit loaves and 3 dozen courgette buns cooling in the kitchen) as well as a bit of painting. Having a sit-down to catch up with emails and MSE for a bit before heading upstairs to sort out my "craft" room, still not fully sorted, but woukd like to get some sewign done today sometime
Oh I need to ring our local car-man-that-does, and ask if he will take our old estate, and possibly give us a bit of money for it (cheek I know as it's pretty clapped out, but it got 4 new tyres in the summer, and has a nearly full tank of diesel....well, I didn't think we would be getting a new car quite so soon!
:o:o
Have a good day everyone...still a bit breezy up with you Pippi??

Keiss - clapped out or not, scrap merchant pay for car's down this way. There is a lot of money in scrap metal at the mo so it may be worth checking the local paper and having a ring around
