Kc gravel to stop me sinking into the drive when it's really wet in the winter.
Mushy peas are the food of the gods. Everybody here hates them, had some with my hm pub tea last night so needed to finish them off, to lazy to cook anything else.....
The cats are supersonic, doubt I'll get pictures, one jet black, the other a shade of which I couldn't distinguish as it was travelling faster than a nutrino (sp?) those newly discovered (the speed, not the doobries) faster than the speed of light thingmys.....Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Was worried about them as I don't see them hardly at all, but all present and correct with new chums.

Yup, OH conceded happily that my Indian fakeout (his complete with a massacred pork chop, I have no idea how to cook bits of meat, can do a stew or roast chicken but a chop?!?!) was better than the local restaurant. Wooohoo!! Will do that again and I have lovely leftovers for one day this week
Swim and picnic - done! Luckily we went to a park with no icecream van, so DD was perfectly happy with her offerings and we're now home chilling out inside as it's too darned hot out there, but hopefully we'll be popping over to a friend's in a tic as I think it might soon be wine o'clock!0 -

i've always wanted a kitchen window which was big enough and bright enough to put a shelf in it for plants/herbs0 -

Hello Peeps!
Hope you've all had a lovely day! It's been better than summer here - went for a bike ride by the river and saw lots of people swimming in it! More than I've ever seen before - not sure whether David Walliams' swim has given them ideas??
Yay to the wedding trees idea, I remember reading about some people asking friends for trees once, a long time ago, and I thought it was a lovely idea, can't remember if it was for a wedding or a house-warming type present but they planted a little forest, it's something that will always remind you of your friends (not like a vase or something that gets put in the back of a cupboard). You do need to be in your 'forever home' though or they'll get left behind. I used to think I'd like to do that - that was a very long time ago though, back in the days when I once entertained the idea that I might one day get married :rotfl::rotfl:
By the way Unix petrol does go offProbably fine in the car as I'm sure you use it often enough but in something like a lawn-mower, if you leave it with petrol in over the winter it is likely to go off over a few months. You can tell if it has - it smells horrible!
KK love the swim and picnic in the park, and the take-away-at-home sounds Yum!0 -
Woohoo, it's Monday....trying to gather some enthusiasm here! Woke up far too early, lay there listening to DD's breathing (she's in bed with me, I don't have ears like a dog's, lol) then pottered downstairs to check the bank accounts and do some spending......school photo time, a necessity as she looks so gorgeous and grown up
I have leftovers and some fruit for lunch, maybe with some pasta or shall I try and break my carbs addiction as the scales haven't moved downwards in a few daysI'm toying with the idea of leaving my purse at home today so that I keep on the straight and narrow. I only live 10 mins from work so if I find I desperately need something I can waste money on petrol to drive back and get my purse......hopefully it'll be a good incentive to avoid spending!
Couldn't resist cooking a bit of pasta but have managed to leave my purse on the kitchen table0 -
:rotfl: at your bogof cats pippi :rotfl:
<waves> just dashing through, need to get on with work! :eek:0
