i know you wasn't nagging just thought I'd let you know that I have signed it and hopefully some people I know on FB have too.
A carpet picnic. DD and I have those quite a bit with all her dolls and teddys. I'm getting a bit big to sit on the floor now though so we haven't done it for a while. She still has tea parties with her dolls on the rug. I heard her telling her doll one time that she was sorry but she didn't have a highchair for her so she would have to sit on the floor with all the others!! It was so cute. Then yesterday I went out for lunch with some friends and popped in b n m for some wrapping paper. Guess what I saw?? A dolls highchair for £3.99 so i bought it and have put it away for her birthday.
I have actually taken my own advice and have nearly finished clearing out the nursery. I am having a break now then I have to get back to it. It has to be clear by the time DH comes home from work cos he's going to move the table out of there. Then he can paint it sometime. That'll be one room looking decent in the house then (hopefully)Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

HI all
Hugs to all those feeling down/ill. I do feel as though we have really moved into autumn all of a sudden. I rather like autumn but then I'm one of those people who 'need ' seasons. I couldn't cope with living somewhere without seasons.
I had a call from the Doc's yesterday with a cancellation so I've been in and had 2 small lumps removed from my leg today. Nothing to worry about , just very overgrown skin tags that line up perfectly with the seam on your trousers. I was expecting to be cut and stitched but had them chopped of at the base with a cauterising thingy. Buoyed up by the absence of a scalpel I toddled off to Mr. M's, all went well until I dropped my card as I was about to pay and discovered it hurt when I bent down to get it.
I've decided that being on here is a 'safe' activity' until it's a bit less sore!0 -

a little over 5 weeks and it feels like forever. I won't moan on your diary but if he wants to make an appearance some time after DD's birthday then I won't complain.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Hi
Have spent a while lurking and reading diaries and catching up etc. (Still makes me feel like a stalker if I don't contribute)
All I can say is wow to the poly tunnel and all the hard work you have been doing Pippi. :j
I can actually say I don't know where the summer has gone. Went up lottie for a pick the other day and it is starting to seem quite autumnal. (Which I quite like providing it is not lashing it down with rain.)
Yay for carpet picnics we used to do them when ours were little. Great fun!!
I am in the throws of trying to finish course, so I can become a member of the IAB, (onwards and upwards and all that), so I am lurking on here as I have overloaded this morning and can't take any more in; on a very tight schedule to complete now, due to a few unforseen interruptions, but hey ho I am on the way to being caught up.
Well coffee break over. I feel the need to clean; not because I am obsessive, more out of embarrassment:oMy finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
Not a very productive day for me either, though I did do a bit of knitting, and a little bit of tidying...oh, and 3 washes. Didn't watch the USA - Oz match in the end...spent my time on MSE instead
Will do some ironing tonight, want to wear a pair of trousers tomorrow that are in the ironing pile, so I have to attack it!
Right, need to get tea sorted. I boiled a couple of gammon shanks (like hocks) last night, so need to take them out and make some soup with the stock. It'll be a bunger-all soup, so there will be plenty of courgettes and carrots in it! :rotfl: We will have some of the cooked gammon with veg and garlic bread for tea, the soup is for the weekend and then the freezer if there is any left! I will make some gammon sandwiches to take to the Malvern Autumn Show tomorrow, and possibly a flask of some soup ...that will keep me warm when the temperature drops!!
Oooh, carpet picnics...haven't done that in a while. This house isn't really big enough, though we would have to budge the dog over on the only bit of rug downstairs...it's all laminate and vinyl flooring, not so comfy!
Have a great evening, and weekend, (((((((hugs))))))) to anyone feeling the need for one, see you all later in the weekend. x
