Thought it was 4/12 (ie December) and thought well done gv, very MSE to ignore sell by dates on that kind of stuff chocolate takes ages to go off anyway, they'll be fine, what a canny purchase.
Lol - does that make me worse?
*morning*
We have use by dates drummed into us at work due to food hygiene guidelines. it's such a waste sometimes as you can tell when some foods have gone off and you can ignore a "best before" date. but no we have to throw it away in case we poison someone *rolls eyes*

Morning! Lazy day planned for me2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Spin class officially planned for me - but I'm still in my nightie drinking tea and reading Country Living magazine and it started 20 minutes ago :rotfl: :rotfl:
Plan B (which is the same as Plan A, without the spin class) involves B&Q to buy a fence, an apple day in a local park, lugging round a few paving stones (although I'm on my own, so it might be more like looking at them than moving them), tidying up, a bit of flute playing, a bit of sewing - a nicely pottering day for me! :T :T

Morning Pippi & all,
lazy & cultural day here; currently following Cheery's example of sunday best clothing & then heading off to pop art exhibition at nearby gallery later. Is it very odd of me to want to dress up a bit 'quirkily' just go there ?
Happy day to all

Oops, think I may be reponsible for the confusion. I did mean April 2012, honest, but I was tired in charge of a keyboard and didn't think that one through:D. Now my brain is back in gear can I also mention that they had 'Celebrations' and 'Quality Street' tins for the same price.
I've just been and picked the not quite ripe 'Black Cherry' tomatoes and put them on the window ledge to finish off. I wanted them to ripen on the vine but they were growing in pots outside and with the sort of wind that's forecast I had visions of having to retrieve them from shrubs, the shed roof and neighbours gardens:eek:.0 -
Er, Lula, was I setting an example of sunday best clothing?! You wouldn't think it to look at me
I'm actually setting an example of stomping around DIY shops muttering and grumbling, being astonishingly grumpy, and banging around with a complete strop on wondering why I can't get anything right today :rotfl: Not a good example to follow!

Aww cheery,
probably the full moon getting you all crotchety. Makes me all hyped up & like an over excited puppy - not cool !
Suggest you treat yourself to cup of tea, slab of cake & then re start the day.
Hope it improves soon

Thanks Lula.
I'm hereby declaring Sunday over, and Sunday 2 beginning
Starting Sunday 2 with a nice cup of tea and a mooch about the internet. Strangely enough, that's very similar to the way I started the first Sunday :rotfl: This one is NOT going to involve the car, or a DIy shop, or a fence (or even a lack-of-fence, which is what Sunday 1 involved... :rotfl:)0
