Hi all
Still raining here but when i ventured down the garden to put some food out for the birds I noticed something I've kept meaning to ask Pippi about.
I have a 'creeping Phlox'. It's beautiful when in flower but this year it's gone a bit mad to say the least. It was near the edge of a border and was suposed to 'tumble gently over the rock edging to soften the lines'. It hasn't. It's run amok but instead of going over the edge it's heading for the middle of a very wide border where I want to have taller things.
I picked up a bit at the farthest edge and it isn't rooted down. What I wondered was, how easy is it for me to take bits of the outer edge and try to take cuttings. What would be the best way to do this? Do you want some?
Help?!0 -
just a thought about your WTC payment, and feel free to ignore as i've never recieved it etc but could it be a different payment because they've finally done the paperwork from your phone call and are paying you back over a longer period of time, didn't they say that's what they would do??? as i say i've no real experience of the thing but remember you saying what they'd said to you.0

My kitchen and bathroom floors get done weekly
But in a very un MSE wayI have to confess to having a cleaner
The jury is still out on if I will still have a cleaner next month after I finish work at the end of September. I would hate to lose her as good cleaners are hard to come byMay try and keep her until Christmas and see if I am back in work by then.

a cleaner? oh such heaven!! but do you have to tidy up before she gets there? lol0

She is here to clean, I am here to tidy. Thems the rules
But if I am my usually slovenly self (or she comes on a different day to catch me out) she does tidy up after me. She occasionally hides things from me but has got used to text messages saying any idea where I will find xxx. She always knows :rotfl:
When you are working full time the £20 she costs is a bargain, just need to convince myself that it is still a bargain when I am busy [STRIKE]training my new puppy[/STRIKE] job hunting to do it myself
The puppy? To give me a reason to insist on working close to home and not spend hours commuting on the M25 in future. And it is a long held dream:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
i'm jealous not only on the cleaner front but also on the puppy front, Mr LT says we can have one when we get our house as it's round the corner from where he works,0

That's how we viewed our cleaner, loved having one £25 a week well spent! Only had one with the lodgers, can't afford one the now
Lt I think you are right re the wtfc - perplexed as it's not as much as the previous (before they changed it this time) figure. Who knows!
