    forgot to say I went past a house up the road the other day advertising local eggs for sale on a little sign outside :T :T :T I think they *might* just come from our adopted chickens outside the school up the road - they're very close to there :T :T How exciting would that be?? Didn't stop off at the time, only just got back from yours and house was full of eggs :rotfl::rotfl: but I'm nearly done with the ones from before our holidays now :o (oh dear!) o might go and be brave and knock on the door :T :T Cheaper than the shops too, and how cheery! :j :j

    Yay for sauna! :T :T Must try that myself soon :D Bleurgh to cossie though :rotfl:

    For your gate - can you not just have a frame with chicken wire stapled over it? Will keep out the chickens, but should let the wind through far better than wood? Or am I being naive?? :p

    Thank you KC

    I'm *happy* decided that yesterday - the broods back, life returns to semi normal at home and I'm *happy* I like my people here.

    Work is a bit confusing, but that will settle.

    Have a lovely day too :)

    I forgot to post - Lucielle, totally with you on hardly ever mopping floors. I sparked a big conversation, I think it was on *this* thread not my own, about that before my mum came down - turns out most people are like us :j:j:j

    And thank you Pippi :kisses3::kisses3::kisses3:

    Good idea pippi re taking the boxes! :T :T Was scared to knock on the door - but then they do actually have an advert in the front garden, so it's not like they're going to chase me away with a broom is it?? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Lu more luck than an elephant teetering on a lily pad waiting for a river bank to emerge - with that lot you'll need it!

    *sending good vibes to wft folk to be nice to Lu*

    Well done on the floor - :)

    The boxes will be like your sheild - will help to reduce being chased off by broom

    TBH I'd be completely the same :o nervous - if they keep chickens they are bound to be both fun and probably a bit demented by them and therefore you're bound to get along :)
