YAY indeed to thesis, if its accepted I don't know if that means I graduate this month? I don't think I'll go down to Aberdeen, might go to the one in the cathedral here though
KK - OMG - poor you gazelles are beautiful though and chuckling about spending, did you not see my £32 spent on random food post - I'm bad to the bone
Busy in here putting kettle on -- will see what delights we have downstairs
wierd having an upstairs living room - still not use to it.
Mrs M - yorkies rock (not the chocolate kind Red! That would be a rather random tea!!!!) whats in your pasta bake?
Red thank you for the dodgy hugI'm just a bit erghish - I'm running out of excuses to go into the office and I need to get on with more of the 'new life' - but I'm not good with change.
I need to formulate a new list which doesn't have thesis on it - I've loads of stuff to do for website etc and other bits - need to really get my head around what I'm doing now for work and home goodlifing
Got evening class stuff to develop
Got webstuff to do
Got polytunnel to put up
House to properly take apart and tidy and declutter
Family to provide nutritious food and distribute hugs too
A dog to walk
And a billion books to read
Oh, and find a job - but will wait and see if that other one will be advertised soon (we've a meeting next week)
Lobs brownies about and puts kettle on
ETA KC I'm fine but a bit randomly bereft - darn that pesky thesis being done, now I might have to get on with my proper life - *gulp*Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Change is always hard, even when it has been eagerly anticipated. It amy sound daft but I think it is a little like a bereavement - the thesis has been with you a long while and not having it to 'care for' will leave a gap.
PS : Just because you finished your thesis doesn't mean you have to grow up, you know. But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Tricia - thank you
I think a lot of truth in thatnot daft at all - 4 year of work in that crazy document - now odd not to have that to think about -
Grow up - bleurgh! Never.........................:)Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

It's a big adjustment! I found it really hard letting go of the nagging feeling in the back of my head that I should be doing something
Handed mine in in Feb, and I'm only just really getting used to it now - sorry! (although I had 7 years of it, so maybe your mourning time will be slightly less?!)

Tricia always makes perfect sense
Pasta bake, erm random stuff out of freezer and veggie bag so erm......... onions, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, oregano, basil,( rosemary from my bay style tree outside front door) , garlic, pasta twists, white sauce and cheese topping with a few olives on top of that. Will do a garlic bread with it and some salad too (left over from lunch which was left overs from last night). Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
