Was going to send a celebration cake for ending the thesis but remembered in time to change it to mashed-potatoes-43-p.jpg instead.

YUM to organic chicken for Mr Flowers ( I will allow that one as it is a celebration for two things).

Sorry you missed the job but it probably wasnt meant to be. After all, full time job in autumn months would stop the work on the polytunnel which is very important for future patchworking.

Love the idea of tackling the day with a cuppa in hand. Pass the teapot if you dont mind.

It is also peeing down here and very windy. Was planning to head out early and do some blackberry picking (they are finally ripe here) but putting it off a bit. Mr C keeps suggesting a bike ride. Anybody any idea how to break the news that I have only ever ridden a bike 3 times and that was my sisters and I crashed it and bent the wheel? Not even sure I could balance, let alone work out gears and things.
