So what was the point of telling them in March that he wanted to stay in education? Surely the reason you told them was so this situation didn't arise :mad::mad::mad:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I can't believe what WTFC have done to you and your budget!!! Thats terrible, truly. As Dragon says, whats the point of you having told them? Can you appeal?Pippilongstocking wrote: »KC only knocked himself unconsious and dislocated his shoulder, the other injuries of other folk include broken wrists and ribs

Pippi, they'll only assume (unfortunately) that ds was staying on for exams then leaving. A lot of students who are leaving at 16 leave before the exams (mostly due to their behaviour I might add the schools usually want them out) so wftc just assume this for everyone. Reprocessing usually takes about 2-3 weeks sometimes less. Hope this helps.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Pippi that's awful (wtfc) Its huge amount of money to lose and as you say not everyone will have a personal food mountain. All this talk of stocking up has inspired me and whilst I have a mere food hillock it's still good to think there's something there either for winter comes or you have an unexpected bill, as in yesterday when the shower pull mechanism died!0

hey chaps thanks
It will all be fine, thank you for the info Uni, I know it makes sense for the masses, but when you tell them anyway - grrr indeed.
GV I think food hillocks, mountains or otherwise are a wise move and as you say very inspired indeed - for the unexpected - wonder if dipping into the 'food budget pot/stash' can really help if we do have an unexpected expense - I like the idea of that thank you. Eg, OK we've lost that money for now - therefore instead of financially panicking maybe I need to think - OK my food budget is now minus that figure as we're short of cash and I have food 'assets' which I can 'cash' in for this months budget
A big kiss, thank you, that really has inspired me too - I have a food budget cushion to work with when my financial one goes a bit wibbly. Therefore the £70 is a blow, but I've a food mountain to cushion me. KK I'm reducing the food down until I find out about WTFC anyway - £100 for a month - might be doable, then again I've got a big stash haven't I? Boo to petrol!
How clever!
KC - sorry OH's fine, but to be honest, he's always doing this, I've prescribed arnica, so I'm less than sympathetic - he should take up knitting or something less 'extreme' - he's a boy child, which is really sweet, but he's not 20 anymore.......................which he's beginning to sadly see - I think he'll keep mountain biking, but maybe not so much of the downhill stuff - mountain biking is now the greatest reason folk end up in ER's - fact - I hope he actually does give up a bit of it, but its his life and his call, I just don't want him broken too much more he'll be a wreck when he's really old! xTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

B. nora! I know I only get £10/week WFTC, but if mine was cut I'd be in schtook.....as it is I have to cope with an exOH who gives me his pittance whenever he feels like it during the month. Poor Pippi, that's really tough and thank heavens for the stripey shop
Now why is it that I had a HUGE breakfast and am ravenous already for lunch.....grrr...0 -
ARGH to WFTC. can't believe they just assume things like that and then cut your money without telling you. you have just inspired me to build up a storecupboard just in case though. I have an emergency stash of toilet roll and washing powder under the stairs that I never use as it's there for emergencies but that's all. hope they sort it out quickly for you.
hope Mr Flowers is okay. although what kind of holiday was that?????????? I too thought holidays were supposed to be relaxing. Hope he's on the mend and I suppose on the up side it could have been worseGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
