    .

Ahem :naughty: what did we say about the buying of bargain food now?
    :rotfl:

Love the idea of the soap making. Something that I have promised myself that I will learn.

Feeling bleurgh......... no idea why or what to do with myself to perk myself up. Reading your diary makes me smile. Thanks everybody

Puddy cats! Even if they're ratters, they're still puddy cats :) Ratter was the name of one of the daemons in The Northern Lights too :) so thats okay then :):):)

And Pippi, all I have to say to you (apart from, thank you for checking up on my thread) is ... storecupboard challenge!!!

Still loving the sound of what you're doing. I've been reading Bast's diary this morning (when I wasn't logged on, which was very confusing) and its sort of like yours but waterborne, on a canal - horses peering in the window, that sort of thing :) it does tell me what I like the sound of.... I'm not here trying to find people who live in the city.

  • UNI, thank you :)

KC and Mrs Moo - um, storecupboard challenge here I come - I was only looking for veggies and fruit, ahem, um, honest. But, 10p strawberries are now several pots of jam :)

I will have a neb at basks diary - the puddy cats are very shy, marmalade is more often at the barn window than the other one, so I'll see if I can get a pic.

LT - bank is OK, rent out soon and back to eekville, but we're still afloat - :) job not been advertised yet - they need to do it soon though!

starnac, I hope the budget goes well, and weathers much better today!

I managed to buy some veggie rennet today (before I remembered about not buying any food, does that count?) I've alot of reduced goats milk in the freezer and I thought, OK can I make cheese with that to stop me buying it.........................

MRs M - cheery taught us, it wasn't too hard, but I was glad to have a helping hand - if you want cheered up look at the 3rd, 4th and 5th photo on todays blog................. or have a laugh at the first two photos!

  • Morning chaps

Hope you're all good, cuppa drank, cellist to the bus, then a list to devise...................

VL - by the looks of making cheese, its heat milk, add stuff and stir, drain and then eat - well not quite but that kind of thing

MrsM hope you're a bit brighter today x and phew to the non-food purchase being OK - got alot out of the freezer last night.............store cupboards today :)

Nice day here, rather ironically considering how its been. Not sure if I will go into town today or not I'm needing to review one paragraph and then check my thesis then rather scarily I'm done and want to get it off during August, which means by tomorrow - although this bit is only electronically.

    Eek indeed

Morning All, how is everyone? Question for you all, there's a baby goody pack on the freebies board. Would it be wrong to register for it (go get it as shop is near my work) and use it to boost the nappy cake I'm making?

Wow, that thesis is really on the way out of your life, isn't it! Thank heavens ... as to the goats cheese ... what are you going to do with the stuff that isn't used for the cheese? Give it to the chickies?

Unix - I wouldn't have thought there was any problem with that ...
